darthfergie Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 Then go to my site! Hi I'm darthfergie moderator at the GB.com forums...alot of people there really like my avatars that I've edited and made so shift your browser to the adress in my sig. *points at sig* "Fergbacca's Images and Avatars" BTW, you know...that vast majority of the smilies here were made at Gb.com by our forumers there...wow....
SlowbieOne Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 There are some pretty cool ones there. I personally like this one the best. Thank you.
Vagabond Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 ...you have some pretty cool images there. Where did you get them? Did you make them yourself?
darthfergie Posted December 7, 2001 Author Posted December 7, 2001 I made a bunch of them. But others I edited down to avatar size which feels like making them occasionally because some you have to edit heavily... I started making these back in the day when everyone over at the Gb.com forums was in search of the perfect avatar...I'll be adding a TON of extra animated avatars after christmas...
SlowbieOne Posted December 7, 2001 Posted December 7, 2001 Sweet. Just curious, what program do you use to make those?
Vagabond Posted December 7, 2001 Posted December 7, 2001 I agree, I'd be curious to know as well. Paint Shop Pro? Photoshop? One thing I'd be interested in getting your advice/instruction on is making a realistic looking lightsaber blade. That would be pretty cool if you could teach me that
Eets Posted December 7, 2001 Posted December 7, 2001 Hey now, fergie. Don't be hogging all the credit for avatars! I too have a site that is being totally rebuffed with 20+ more avatars. I also make custom avatars/sig banners. URL is down in my sig, and keep your eyes on my site because it'll be finished soon!
StephenG Posted December 7, 2001 Posted December 7, 2001 nice avater site. i think ii'l use the golden Darth Vader one. it would be nice if Vader didn't spin around so fast...it looks like his helmet is dancing
darthfergie Posted December 7, 2001 Author Posted December 7, 2001 if you don't like it spinning so fast here is an extra I havn't added to my site yet...*in the attachment* You make static avs Eets..I make animated BTW, I use Paint Shop Pro 7 and Animation Shop...
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 I figured that out...you arn't that talented... *come to think of it niether am I* I resized that vader scan...but I did make about half or more of the avatars on my site...
xwing guy Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 I think all of my avatars that I've ever used and I'm sure the one that I'm using now is all from Darthfergie's site. You make some good avatars man and I thank you for all of them.
darthfergie Posted December 8, 2001 Author Posted December 8, 2001 Thanks... That would be from my patriotic line...
Young David Posted December 9, 2001 Posted December 9, 2001 Fergie, Eets ... promiting you're sites outside our GB. clan? And you've even forgot to mention your teacher ME !!! Nonono ... I don't have one of those comercial avatar pages. When you reqeust an avatar trough PM, you get a special, personal avatar. One that isn't available to the rest of the world. Oh ... and of the GB smilies ... these are the ones I made:
Agen Posted December 9, 2001 Posted December 9, 2001 Hey... This guy's good... I'm good at making logos but not animated gifs... can u make me one with a rotating spoon?????? Please.....
Eets Posted December 9, 2001 Posted December 9, 2001 HAHAHA! Fergie doesn't actually make his avatars. He just resizes the original images to fit into the requirements for these forums.

(for all of you who don't know I don't have Animation shop anymore but will have it after Christmas and Eets has been so giving by making about 20+ banners in the past week and I thought I'd cash in too)
Eets Posted December 11, 2001 Posted December 11, 2001 Really? Cool, you drew em from scratch? Gimmie some examples, man.
darthfergie Posted December 11, 2001 Author Posted December 11, 2001 I don't like drawing from scratch but I can do it...But I really like piecing together pics from about 20 or so other pics like this or I also like taking several pics and making hybrids... I could draw from scratch but I'm too much of a perfectionist...I keep deleting my stuff or erasing it over and over again...also I'm too lazy:D My first truely selfmade avatar---\/
Paragon_Leon Posted December 24, 2001 Posted December 24, 2001 My avatar and me have a very hard time going our own ways.. I intend to keep this one for as long as it takes.
acdcfanbill Posted December 26, 2001 Posted December 26, 2001 cant say i would invite mandy moore to my world maybe kittie instead... lol
Eets Posted December 27, 2001 Posted December 27, 2001 I would like to announce that I have made my avatar more versatile for different colored backgrounds meaning it is now more transparent, and there are less light gray fuzzies around it.
