other good similar games?

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the good welcome to this forum.

I've been out of the loop for awhile in PC gaming, but i just got a decent desktop. I used to play RS on my N64 but I picked it up for the PC, it seems easier though.

This might spawn a deluge of comments, but what other games are out there like Rogue Squadron- arcade style/space sim etc.?

I also picked up X-wing Alliance, but I haven;t spent too much time on that one yet. It looks promising...

Well if you were looking for something simular to Rogue Squadron... i think you should try Battle of Naboo. it is based on Rogue Sqaudron and is realy fun. ( as Rogue 15 is gonna tell yah :D)

XWA isnt realy that much like Rogue Squadron. it is more like the other X-wing games... and formally play in space and not on planets.

Now the ne GameCube console has the new Rogue Squadron game on it: Rogue Leader. and that is.. what i would say a mix up of XWA and Rogue squadron. you play on planets and in space.

hope that help yah. ;)

if you still got it, i found a code with MY NAME in it!!! I almost fainted when i found it. but at the mission place, where u put in your id and password, make your name be Louis and try the password, Lvpjs I think that's it...but it is VERY strange that it actually worked...and that i remembered the code. hehe So when you get a chance, try that code.

I remember that ol original star wars arcade game (vector lines). I found it in a movie theatre a while back, but they took it away. I wonder why it was still popular with me and my buddies. you really felt like you were flying an x-wing with that radical steering control!

I've never played free space, i've heard lots about it. I hope to find a copy someday.

I think I saw a copy of terminal velocity in some $10 bargain bin (I am thinking of another game?) but I wasn't sure if it was worthwhile picking up.
