Do you think that GL should release the old trilogy in DVD, featuring new footage (lost scenes) with all ANH* space battles and lightsabers computer generated and new displays in the cckpits to match the new trilogy and videogames?

* ESB and ROJ have excellent space battles that do not need to be changed and lightsabers are fine too.

I'm not critical about the movies (i like'em very much and think that they're the best, but i would like that all six of them (too much of hoping about nine... :() match perfectly about things like special effects.

I saw yesterday ESB and there are many things that could change:

Some scenes with the snowspeeders are to optical (seem old) other seem CG although they are not but look great and all the battle should be like that. When the Imperial army is shown, well, the some Ties and bombers do not move as they should be... and The executor - he doesn't like as the one in ROJ (maybe different camera angle) AND well, Emperor Palpatine should be Ian McMiarmird (not one woman with an ape's eyes)

When the millenium falcon arrives bespin... well she doesn't touch the clouds when she tresspass them....

The other things are alright, and i Think ROJ is almost perfect because the battle is all optical- no CG and it looks if it where!

umm, i thought Ian played as the emperor, and they put makeup on him...

What they are tryiong to say is that because of the movies, polt elements may crop up that would effect the original trilogy, and they need to address these new issues. they're simply filming new stuffs to tie it all up, so all the loose ends created by the new trilogy will be corrected and explained.
