Keiran Halcyon
DO not laught, but would I be able to run 'Star Wars' galactic Battlegrounds in my computer? My computer features: - Pentium 166 - 48 MB EDO RAM - S3 Trio64+ video card:( - Monster 3d:o - CD-ROM Drive 52x <--the only 'normal thing' - 6 GB of hard disk (splitted in 4 of 1.5 GB) ...... Keiran Halcyon
NOTE: Do not tell me 'download the demo and try it' because i have done it already but in the demo you cant change resolution, so my comp doesn't support more than 800x600 and they put in the demo 1200x720 or something like that. Rogue15
rave, that's not true. He'll be able to run Galactic Battlegrounds, it has an option for 800 by 600.
CaptainRAVE
Its too boring and gets very repetative.
Rogue15
As with any other game with an 'outdated' engine, in your opinion, that is. Ya, it does kinda get repetative, but if you play online alot it's not too bad...personally, I'd wait til it drops to below $40 before getting it. Keiran Halcyon
I hope not (i think i would enjoy it ---> SW) So much for asking if these other games will run?: - Starfighter - Jedi Knight II - SW Galaxies - Knights of the Old Republic - And the other new ones.... J/K :D:D:D (see that Quake III only had sound gliches though )

Rogue15
if u beef up your video card, get a newer monitor, heck just get a brand new computer...lol mine can run elite force on medium settings. It's a compaq presario celeron, 600 mhz, 320 mb ram, 2 gig left of harddrive (i need to delete alot of stuff...), and an intel 810e chipset driver. I need a real video card....specifically for PCI... Keiran Halcyon
I will try JKII anyway (nothing to lose) Maybe ill buy a new comp (if my parents let me to) when they release JKII as 'LucasArts classic' (a year or so) so it will run VERY good. CaptainRAVE
You really should try and upgrade your PC ready for JK2.........from what we've seen so far its going to be incredible
Keiran Halcyon
Yeah, but it is not in my hands.... Althoguh i prefer waiting . (so JKII will have superb performance)
Redwing
GB has pretty low sys reqs. My computer's quite outdated, (emachines) and I can run it just fine. I'll have to upgrade to run JKII tho...
GUNNER
Is GB a RPG? Or is it a FPS?

Wraith 8
well Keiran... i have Pentium II 266 Mhz with 32 MB RAM and a 2.3 GYG harddisk... and i can run GB fairly easy..... the problem arrises when there are to many units in the field and everything lags down ... but other than that..... its okay. Rogue15
all he'll need to do is play with 25 max population limit. I play like that most of the time (easier to win that way).
edlib
Time to update that system dude! As it is I need a new vid card to play a few of the newer games... this old GeForce256 just isn't cutting it anymore with this year's releases. It was great in it's day, but I have hit the wall with it. I have to back Starfighter's graphics almost to the minimum to get any kind of usable frame rate out of it. I know I'm going to have problems if I try JK2. Now that the GF4s are out though the GF3s should become a lot more affordable. As for that new Ti500 64DDR,.. here I come! And if they don't... then I'll just have to get a GF4Ti!
Rogue15
I wish i had an agp slot...i'm forced to stick with PCI or get a new motherboard...
