It is a minor operation luckly, but I have to get there at 6 am they are going to destroy my sleep. Most likely you won't here from me for a couple of days. Admiral Odin Posted February 22, 2002 Author Share Posted February 22, 2002 yes the operation is over. It went well I was home the day of the operation. However I have an open wound and am in almost constant pain/discomfort. Today has been the first day I have been able to actually sit down (this hole week I have been laying down on my side due to were they cut me). The wound is still open and each day I go through excruaiting pain as the bandage and packing is changed. Pain medication helps (here is a hint at how painful it is. I take pain medication and it still feels like a group of people have taken to stabbing me for about 30mins to an hour. Although I still think the pain pills the gave me don't work. and if they do I don't want to think about how much pain I would have felt if they weren't there.
