Redwing Posted February 23, 2002 Share Posted February 23, 2002 Well, Boba Fett is Jango Fett's legacy. ... ----SPOILER DISCUSSION WARNING--- (although if you don't want to be spoiled, you shouldn't have gone this far anyway :rolleyess) Jango is a pretty awesome character...he has depth to him, he wants desperately to be a father...he's neither totally good nor totally evil. He's on the bad guys' side, but he's doing it so he can have a son As for the concept of him, that's great too. Boba Fett was a surprisingly popular character from the first movies, and people went wild with their ideas of how cool he was and the cool things he's done (even though we barely saw him fight) Lucas apparently saw this, took what the fans imagined Boba Fett to be, and made it Jango Fett.
