Rogue15
hehe a wasp got in my room the other day cuz the window was open, and it was on the ceiling and stuff, i let it live cuz it was kinda cool in my room and i didn't want to be stung....well this morning i woke up and it was nowhere to be found, yesterday it came out of nowhere tho...but i JUST felt under my shirt on my back, in the center of my shoulder blades and thought i had a pimple or something cuz i get pimples on my back like that...and to my surprise i picked out like waxy stuff and then i reached back and felt like an ant and was like 'oh great' and i looked in my hands and i squished it...it happened to be the wasp! THE STUPID TRAITOR!!!!!!! So it'd dead now...i killed it with my bare hands hehehe. I think the stinger is in my back or something o well as long as it doesn't hurt i'm alright. hehehe that was weird tho...i didn't even feel him i got dressed and everything...hmmm o it was probably sleeping in the shirt b4 i put it on and that's how it got there... o well, not my fault. Rogue Nine
It could be worse. You could've gotten stung on you inner thigh like I did. THAT HURTS LIKE A BIZNATCH.
edlib
One time while trimming the hedges I cut through a nest of yellowjackets. I was stung more than 50 times, mostly on my face, neck and hands. I had never in my life been stung before, so I had no idea if I was allergic or not. If I was, the doctor said, I would have been dead before I hit the ground. I couldn't see out of left eye for a week my face was so swollen. It not an experience I can recommend for anybody.
Rogue15
OOOOOWWWWWWW!!!! i remember being stung like 5-6 times in my right knee by yellowjackets....me and my sister were in the woods with some friends and she tripped over a nest, and started screaming, and i was like what's she screaming about, and so i went over and the yellow jackets started going after me...that hurt. Fire ants are worse tho, i'm kinda allergic to them. I get huge welts on my skin whenever i get bit by them. and then i get a sore throat and the next day i feel all woozy. whenever i see a anhill and ants everywhere i get chills down my spine...the initial bite doesn't hurt that bad, but like 3 hours later it's all swollen....just thinking about it makes me feel like i've been bit by one. Rogue-for-Higher
I rember when my dad smashed up a bee hive that was in the back of a trailer. It was about the size of a foot ball. He attacked it with a rake and about 5 five cans of bee spray. He did'nt even get stung!

edlib
Not a honey bee, a type of wasp. They can be kind of nasty if you bother them. So don't. More info from the site where I found the image

Redwing
@R15: You know if someone else is screaming and running, it would generally be a good idea to scream and run too... BTW yellowjacket = type of wasp or hornet
