PadawanJedi
I am anti-saberlock so here is my script. Hopefully serveradmins will wise up and turn that "feature" off. set saberattack0 "wait;+attack;wait;-attack;wait; set slock vstr saberattack1" set saberattack1 "wait;+attack;wait;-attack;wait; set slock vstr saberattack0" vstr saberattack0 set slock vstr saberattack0 bind x "vstr slock"
PadawanJedi
if you don't know how to make a script do this: 1) make a file in the GameData\base directory called bind.cfg 2) put that script in 3) when you start up jk2 drop down the console with shift ~ and type /exec bind.cfg
Neko Lain
Hmm, i dunno, i just started to win the saberlocks normally
BigMexican
yep, that was only posted the first week the game came out hehe check waaaaaaaaay back in these forums, there are all kinds of funny things, like people complaining about DFA whores etc lol, artifex and his flame wars, ASC vs SC, heaps of goodness
leXX
Someone suggested having attack on your mousewheel then when you get in a saberlock, just spin the wheel! Didn't work for me though...oh well.
Elegy
Heh, I tried that mouse wheel thing too, I did worse than normal. I just use the ctrl key on the keyboard since the game binds that to attack by default as well. I can pound the hell out of that button much faster than I can my mouse buttons. LivingSacrifice
Man I tried that mouse wheel to, no luck. I am better at using the mouse button. I don't have a problem with saberlock, I can usually win 1/2 of the ones I have Peace:cool:
Yoda_623
I don't like saber locks that much, but I can win them some times. But I'm not gonna use a script for it.
SirTwist
i tried mousewheelup +attack and now it's easy to win saberlocks, well not all the time, sometimes it's useless..to use mousewheel attack..

I use it if it's obvious that my opponent has a script for this. And even then I only use it to make sure that the block is a standoff, & in the cases where I win I give my opponent the chance to get up again before resuming the fight. I don't like saber locks to begin with & it's cheap to kill someone while they're lying on the ground.
Robrob
I already have this script. In the rare instances that I do get into a saber lock i win and then back stab them works everytime.
karismatik
I don't see the need for a script, but then that's just me... (years of finger training playing music kinda makes it easy for me, haha) My main strat tho (since i don't like knockdowns heaps, but i admit to using it when i'm down and just absolutely need to win, haha) is jus to stay in saberlock, not to win, but jus to keep it alive until it auto finishes... Then everyone's happy Hey Lexx has a list of Heroes!!! Cool, but I won't publish mine here, not that i have one...
AgentSmith
When I get into a saberlock I just pound the attack and forward keys and change my stance to Strong (if it was on Fast or Medium) and do a few Force pushes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What's really cool though is that the times you loose, sometimes your opponent won't be fast enough to launch a close lightsaber attack so they ll do a lightsaber throw (also depending on how far you're pushed back, sometimes I just Force push them away too.). If you're lucky or time your move right (you know getting up faster with the jump key and your charcter will spin upright) the spinning lightsaber can narrowly miss you, it rather reminds of how in Spiderman he evaded those boomerang like knives (for lack of a better word) the Green Goblin threw at him. IronJedi Kaga
Way to be a no skill piece of trash. Saberlocks dont happen that often, but if you get in one its not that hard to press attack. Apparently thats too much work for people like you. THis thread should be deleted.
