There is a new Hard disk (not yet released) called a sugar cube. (yes, a sugar cube)it is the size of a die and can store a terrabyte of data!!! (a terrabyte is a thousand gigabytes) It uses holographic light interference to store data. A computer expert told me about this and I don't know when it will be released so keep a lookout for it!:D

no, I believe this could be true. There are a hell of alot of things in development that would blow your mind away and I heard about holographic hard disks somewhere! I think it may have been on Tommorows World a while back.

You watch Tommorows World too on Tech Tv?

Anyway, did you know they are able to have your eye be the "mouse" of the computer. So much for hand-eye cordination..:p

God...we might be able to make robots as brilliant as men(no lie) if we have a HUGE(Huge as in Terabyte is the same as a byte) memory bank in a computer, and if we use the theroy we have no souls, but we are really trillions of bytes in our brain,we can have robots even better than us.

Scary,aint it?

Terminator 1 and 2 might predict the future, not the time travling though...what's done is done, and cant be changed..

1 thing .... all of these are slightly wrong

in reality

there are 1024 bytes in a kB

1024 kB in a MB

1024 MB in a GB

1024 GB in a TB

1024TB in a .... PB

im pretty sure it isnt penabyte .... but it begins with p

im sure u all knew this

and this is y u often get 2 diff size readings for HDD's and Floppys

think of it

they have to make it actually take a Terabyte (a gig wont sell!)

they have to make it rewritable (which could take AGES!)

they have to make it reliable (another long 1)

they have to make up a manufacturing process for it ...

they have to make it affordable
