If you've never seen the film, please go out and buy it. If you don't like films with dead guys in it, then just go rent it to say you've seen it. Darth Groovy Posted September 12, 2002 Share Posted September 12, 2002 Know way in hell would I diss on Sam Raimi and the Evil Dead Trilogy, they are some of my all time favorite films. After all I got the idea for my user name back in 1994 after me and some freinds had a long weekend binge of beer and trilogies. The first day we watched all of Evil Dead films and the part during Evil Dead II: Dead By Dawn, when Ash first tries on the chainsaw and says" "Groovy" that was where the name came from, no lie! The next day when we were watching Star Wars, one of my friends asked me what my favorite line was, and I jokingly said "Groovy", but right before I said it, another one of my freinds said the word "Darth" and it just kind of stuck. Good to know that I'm not the only sick mind on this forum I like the movies a lot because i'm a huge fan of Romero's work. He's one of the few directors who brings a lot of depth in horror movies(I reckon). Steve (fly boy) is the name of the avatar character. And I'm a proud owner of both dawn And day of the dead on dvd.
