Hey, my life sucks but I just think of someone who has it worse off than me... usually helps

Edit -

And I don't think Neitchze was envious of those who aren't bitter about love. It sounds like a simple truth. Love for someone, no matter how long it lasts, changes you even if it does end. If you don''t experience any kind of love, whether for a girlfriend/boyfriend, friend or family member, you probably do become bitter and angry. Love for something sort of turns a light on, gives you hope. I dunno...I'm shutting up now...

I agree with this - Isn't it better to have loved, than not loved at all? Even if you lost love, the experience will still remain, and experience is life itself.

Edit No 2 - Notice I'm editing my posts, and resisting the urge to spam the last few in order to reach 1000? :D

I actually don't agree with that statement. If I could remove the times I've fallen into the 'delusion of love' I would gladly do it.

Someday someone can create a memory remover.

Go to your local bar and commit to a best 3 out 5 "Mind Eraser" race. Don't get the shot, get the drink.

After you finish your races, get a 4 horseman shot.

Congrats you have lost all memory of the painful event for the next 5 hours.

Enjoy

you'll all will probably laugh about my story: i had a g/f on the net, but she was pretending 2b some1 else, when i found that out, i broke up with her, and she suddely began acting really strange:, not talking to me etc., than i said i liked her 2, she suddenly began acting nice 2 me........i'm just backing off at the moment

You know that's what happened to me lol...I met a girl online a couple of months back...we were amazing friends...but when she broke up with her old b/f (who treated her like s**t...i got pretty p****d off with him), she admitted that she wanted it to be more with me...and of course I felt the same:)lol...we sent each other pics, started talking on the phone (she lives in canada and I live in the UK btw, so it was a big deal to phone)...we had the best time...you guys'll laugh at this but I actually thought I was in love...it sounds so stupid, but I can't put it any other way, it was how I truly felt...

...but as you can guess the ending to this story is not a happy one...about a week ago she said it would be better to make the most of the time we have while we're young, and to not spend our whole time chasing after each other...basically, she just didn't have the heart to tell me it would not work out...I'm not dumn, and I got that message pretty quick...I really hate it, there was really something there and I've blown it...

And in regard to the phrase Frederich Neitchze said, I do not agree with it one bit...if any of you have felt something like I have, only to lose it, you know it hurts more than anything else...I just hate it...

*Points to my above post ^*

Well, I think you'll thank yourself for it when you're more experienced, but I suppose I'm not the right person to talk to about that....

Still, when in the end you're an old and happy chap, I think you'll look back at your life and see that you made the right choice in the long run....

Whoever said that statement was envious of those who don't feel so bitter or disappointed and rationalizing his own harvesting of such feelings.

i bet that that person was pretty good looking!

Everything happens for a reason!

Loads of things that have happened to me seemed so bad at the time but I when I look back at them now, I think thank God they happened or I would not be as Happy as I am today.

Morpheus: "Do you believe in fate lexx? do you..." (can't remember the rest :p)

I don't know if you implied that you believed in fate, but I can agree that there's good in anything - however long time may pass until you're able to see it.

Well, I've tried it a couple of times before...!

The worst time though would have to be with my last girlfriend!

She broke after a week, cuz she was back together with her x!

I was dipressed for a day or so, but I got over it due to the small amount of time our relationship [sp?] lasted...I mean one week?! Why cry for a year?! Move on!!!

Or how about you fall in love with someone so quickly, that you almost cry/cry when you depart with them?

Its always sad to get dumped :( !!
