We're on alert, we know that factions have been trying to gather explosives and that there's been a large increase in, "chatter". Do you think something's going to happen or at least that something's going to be tried tomorrow?

The whole idea of terrorism is to strike when the enemy is least suspecting or alert. The real irony here is if we were to stay at this level of alertness at all times, it would make the possibilty of attack at any date more difficult. Yet after today, it seems we will be content to go to a lower level of alertness, almost inviting an attack from al-queda. We are, after all, at war with terrorists, wouldn't it behoove us to be more vigilent in our wariness and alertness all the time, not just on anniversaries and holidays?

It was all safe, so the idea is to attack when no one expects it at all like 9-11, so this could days,weeks, or perhaps months..... We can hope nothing to happen though... For quite a while perhaps! The one thing the US could do however is relook the foriegn policy so that we would be lower on the target list....

It doesn't really matter if the country is alert. It could actually be a benefit if the act is succesful. If they attacked when at this level of alert it would inspire more fear (their goal), since poeple could now begin to think there is nothing we can do to prevant it. They become hopeless, and scared that terrorist have free reign and can't be stopped. Personally I don't think anything will happen for the remainder of the day.
