Lord_FinnSon
Great Scott! I just bought it recently, even though I waited it to appear here Finland much much later. In the USA it's supposed to be released 17. december according to DVD.com, so hopefully all you US BTTF fans get it as a fine X-Mas present. I have seen every part of the trilogy numerous times and been a fan about half of my lifetime, so I was pleasently surprised of the quality of these discs and packaging(I don't know will it be a little bit different in USA, but here's what I got) and thought I'd write short review of what basically you get. First of all, I have to tell you guys that all of them have been remastered wonderfully and especially first one has sharp picture quality. I could clearly see wrinkles under the chin of older Doc Brown, for example, that I never noticed before, and those old visual effects didn't jump out from the rest of the movie as much as they did on video, but instead looked a little bit enhanced in those few moments; same thing can't really be said when it comes to part 2 which uses much more visual effects to tell its story, but part 3 has standed the time better with its fewer, economically used effects. Colors were vivid(green lawns, lightning and Clara's purple dress in part 3 comes first to mind). Sound quality is also perfect in every movie, but especially in the first one which soundtrack feels more dynamic compared to others. While going through familar scenes, I heard a lot of little sounds like Marty's wristwatch peeping when he tries to call Doc from the cafe phone booth and waiter stops to wonder what was it(I actually don't remember hearing it ever before). Another good example are songs played through radio in Marty's room which are more noticeable this time around and you clearly hear their lyrics. Last but certainly not least, score in itself couldn't have been presented better. Well, what more can I say? This is heavy!

Lord_FinnSon
Well Sivy B, you can already buy it, because it was released in the UK on 30 September(unless, if the time reported in DVD Review.net was changed). Because we share same region, I bet I have exactly same packet that you will hunt down and we usually get these after you Brits.

Darth Groovy
I'll definitely get it since I love those movies. They are modern day classics. BTW does anyone know anything about the Indianna Jones Films on DVD? I saw a copy of The Temple of Doom in a glass display case at the local used DVD store, and the clerk didn't know anything about it. It was unpackaged and priced at $67. GonkH8er
Screw the hoverboard.... just a delorean would do me, without the hover conversion...
Psionic Jedi
Has anyone ridden the BTTF ride at any of the Universal Studios? It's my fave next to Jurassic Park (which im never riding again), Studio Tour, and Terminator 3D. You get in a Delorean and basically it's a theater of several other deloreans and you ride back in the past as a cloned/backup Delorean to catch Biff in the real Delorean... It involves smashing into the Clock Building and chasing down a dinosaur... .
Ratmjedi
I can't wait till it gets here. There is also one more old movie that I need to get. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on DVD. I don't know about you guy's but that was my child hood right there. I had all the goodies. So many DVD's to get but I doubt that I will get them all since I'm broke and in debt. It suck's but I'll get them soon enough.
