I am Ric D'Sunga, Jedi Knight and Council Member from Knights of Alderaan (http://www.alderaanknights.com). You may not have heard of us, but we are a Role-Play dedicated JKII clan. We have our own storyline, and missions to develop our story, in order to make this game even more fun. We currently have 26 members and 80% are active. They are all divided into initiates, padawans, knights and masters, and training is also a very important part of our day to day clan-life, very similar to all of yours I believe. The purpose of my post, is hoping to invite any of you who would like to become our members or future opponents, either in some inter-clan tournament that we will be organizing or RP missions, acting as our "enemy" or "allied", or even some simple training sessions, so that our members can test out their true skills other than just the same group of people over and over again. We do each have our own characters, with background histories (see the Members section and click on the member's image )I don't think we're an RPing clan, but we do follow seperate paths with our characters, so in-a-way it's role-playing I'll see what the other members think about being apart of a role-playing story. Haras_Media Posted October 16, 2002 Share Posted October 16, 2002 Well, we have a 'Code of Honor' on our forums. That will explain quite a bit of how we are organized and function. My fellow Council Member Ric already spoke in general about what we are attempting, but let me clarify it further. We have a living story. Our story will be guided by the outcome of these little RP events that we run. Recently, we had an escort mission with Villians attacking the Jedi and trying to assassinate the Chancellor. A nice little planned JediVMerc excursion. It was considered a large success by those able to attend. But to offer more people a chance to participate, we are looking for other groups to assist in being the baddies in our times. Thanks to one of our member, we now have a much more powerful dedicated server, that can host up to 16 people at once (supposed to be more, but would like to test it more first)! We just had one of our RP mission last Saturday night and it went very well! If any clan out there interested in any joint functions or clan war, please feel free to contact me at ka_ric@hotmail.com. We have asked our members to be good representatives of the Order in everything they do and say (especially outside of our KoA Forums and public servers). Having trained Ric, I know that this is his genuine personality and I appreciate his endeavors to bring the Order additional activities for the enjoyment of all. Please, feel free to continue your dialogue with Ric on having our 'Clans' have a joint meeting. It is just the whole greetings thing is weird to me because more than one person from your organization has said it to me and I can tell you that if you started going around saying greetings to anyone around here there are some who would beat you up. Even my own friends would look at me and wondering what I had been smoking that day. To all my friends or am around I say hi and just be respectful. Greetings is something I do not think I will ever get over but I am trying. Do you go up to your girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse/significant other and say greetings? Just me and I will get over it.
