GUNNER
First off i am very sorry I haven't been by in forever. School has been very busy and my free time is nill. I usually end up doing home work at work and therefor have little time to get on-line. Finals are next week though and it looks like I'm not going to go back. I went and saw a carrier counselor and we talked for al most a few hours, (at $135 an hour) and it looks like I'm dyslexic. That explains a lot of things. Math has been a pain and the electronics ,boolean algebra to be frank, was worse. I'm going to try and maybe start my own small buisness. Not sure what yet as I need to narrow it down and find out what it is I really want to do. Might be trying to get into the home networking feild and/or building computers. They are both things I like and find pleasure in working with. The other might be working on/with race car motors/chassis. Not sure how that would work out but I know I need a change and it's time to step up and find out what is in store for me. Boeing is going no where and the future here is very grim. After almost 15 years here I am tired of the politics and just the **** in general that goes on here. I assume that this place will at least be out of the fabrication buisness as they are taking alot of our work and shipping it over seas. School was fun but I'm not sure it was what I needed. I'm going to do some research on running a small buisness and what all it intails. I would more then likely start something on the side and then if it grows would start it up full time. It's scary as heck to think about leaving but I learned that is also one of the traits of my family. Get comfortable and then just sit in place and never leave. The guy that runs the machine next to me is quiting next week after almost 16 years. He is 50 years old and him and his wife and his two youngest kids ( who are 14-17) got one way tickets to Hawaii. His wife wants to do some missionary work. He has no idea what he will do but he knows it's time to leave. I want to have gonads like that. To know it's time and not be affraid to step out. I have been affraid to come by because I know it has been way to long since I was here but this morning I got an e-mail from Ike so I figured it was time to get off my ass. Again I am so sorry I have been away for so long. Every one here is a great friend and will always be. You are my first on-line family I ever had. edlib
Good to have you back. Change is always scary, but it can also be good. Someone once told me the secret to running your oun business is "finding a nitch, and scratch it." Being too comfortable in one place and stagnating is never good. It can lead to bitterness. Not a good thing.

Gold leader
Hey GUNNER! Good to have you back! Sure was a long time. It's always a bit scary to start all over again somewhere else. It's impossible to tell in advance whether it's worth the attempt, but just like you said, you'll never know unless you try. About the math thing: if you need some help with calculus, linear algebra or differential equations, just yell.
