C'jais
Both a good movie and a good book. Read the book, saw the movie, then made a huge essay about them for school..... FMJ is very good, and it's been ages since I saw "the shining" for the first and only time - scared the bejesus outta me!!!
mima kake
Kubrick Rules. Every movie has something great and wity a deeper meaning. He didn't make the average main stream crap. He made art. Well that's my opinion anyways. I still like the ALEX EYE

mima kake
It's an older one 77 or 76 or something. But it has great camera work. It's just great eye candy. And has a good story too.

It gets a lot better as it goes along. Of course, it helps if you like Strauss, as well.

Darth Groovy
What urks me about the Shining DVD is that they insist on having it in "standard" pan and scan format instead of widescreen. Of all the movies that should be widescreen why not this one? Hopefully they release a widescreen anamorphic for purests like me!
Bob Gnarly
i agree wide screen is better
