Runaway_Shadow Posted November 22, 2002 Posted November 22, 2002 That's cool, really, really cool! Now all we have to do is wait
JR2000Z Posted November 22, 2002 Posted November 22, 2002 The question is if it is going to be as good as the originals.
Bob Gnarly Posted November 22, 2002 Author Posted November 22, 2002 well the originals where good but with technolagy.....no one knows
-s/<itzo- Posted January 23, 2003 Posted January 23, 2003 i don't think Harrison Ford will play if there is going to be a new Indy movie. its the simple fact that he's too old but then again there are stuntman.
Havoc Stryphe Posted January 23, 2003 Posted January 23, 2003 Yes, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, and Kate Capshaw were approached at the Oscar's and they confirmed Indiana Jones 4. Spielberg said the reason they waited so long to start this project was the script. He wanted to absolutely make sure that the script would live up to the quality of the previous three films. So Harrison Ford will reprise the role of Indiana Jones, as well as Kate Capshaw, who will possibly reprise her Temple of Doom role of Willie Scott, but that is still unconfirmed. Sean Connery is supposed to make a cameo appearance as Indy's father again. And Karen Allen is supposed to make a cameo appearance as Marion Ravenwood. No word on John-Rhys Davies reprising his role as Sallah. To explain the aging of the Characters, the film will be set in the 1950's, so that 16 years of "Indy time" has passed as well. The Film is, as of now, scheduled for a Summer 2005 release.
Silvek Posted January 25, 2003 Posted January 25, 2003 Cool, they seem to have solved the aging of Harrison Ford then if 16 years has passed between the movies. It will be interesting to see what the plot will be as well who will play the bad guys. If it's in the 50's, they can't really use nazis again...

Yes but they can use the Madman with a nuclear bomb aimed at the world on which he lives effectivley killing hiself plot
Silvek Posted January 25, 2003 Posted January 25, 2003 Hmm, that sounds familiar. Now where have I seen that before...
Skinkie Posted January 26, 2003 Posted January 26, 2003 It's the Cold War, he'll be shooting up Commies, like in The Infenal Machine.
Notion Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 In any event, I'm sure it will have that Indy style.
Tall Guy Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 cool! i love the originals, i hope it lives up to the classics. if they make one that is
Mex Posted February 8, 2003 Posted February 8, 2003 I really hope that there is another Indy movie, the origionals were great, I hope the new one will be just as good!
Lemon Head Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 weren't people saying this sort of thing when Episode 1 was announced? I'm not holding my breath for this one, but i'm certainly crossing my fingers!
scabb Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 Indie could have a kid! Played by Haley Joel Osment!
Lemon Head Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 lol oh god no, that would be a fate worse than death! haley has his place, and it's not in the indy films!
topshot Posted March 4, 2003 Posted March 4, 2003 I've seen the original trilogy, and am certainly hoping that this one will be most pleasing!

Spitmaster Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I saw yesterday the Raiders of the Lost Ark on the TV and came tears to my eyes. Man, i´m really looking foward to see Indy 4. My 3 films of Indy are really starting to get wasted...
ckcsaber Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I just hope they are able to recreate the humor that made the original 3 so great. For instance, in Raiders of the Lost Ark, when Indy is being shut in the room where he found the Ark, the woman is dropped in with him and falls on his head, screaming all the while at the snakes. Hilarious.
topshot Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 Even though I've seen the original 3, I just started reading it!
Jakool Posted March 8, 2003 Posted March 8, 2003 So everyone's favorite badass archeologist gets a forth movie, eh?
Ratfish Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 I think Ford is about 61 now...is he going to play Indy's corpse?
