No offense, but do some research before you post. When you buy X-Box live, a special X-Box headset comes free, so EVERYONE online talks in each game online. And please don't say which games are good and which games aren't because that is based entirely on your opinion. I respect everyone's views and I don't say X-Box is the best because it has the best games because it all depends on your preference. But I know for a fact that X-Box live is one of the if not the best online playing program.

I never said Game-cube is just for kids. I said it is a kid-friendly sytem. There is a difference. Yes, Gamecube mames games for more mature players but IMO (remember just my opinion), X-Box games have more depth to them. Again, some of you may view differently then me, that is just how I see it. Also, PS2 has a wider variety of games then X-Box simply because PS2 came out way earlier then the other consoles. I spect that in time, X-Box will have the variety that everyone is looking for.:)

I voted gamecube. I have one and i love it. I just need to start buying more games. Im more of a blockbuster person. Always renting. But gamecube does have adult games meaning (Mature). Like BloodRayne , Turok Evolution , Resident Evil , and Eternal Darkness. Just to name a few. So i wouldnt really say its a 'kiddy' system. Xbox is pretty good also though. I sorta like it. But im still down for my gamecube.

I am a PS2 person. I like the games it has available, I love the controller and I personally like the security that comes along with a system that has been as successful as sony's. The gamecube - I feel too is geared more towards a younger audience. While I agree there are games that are for the adults...the majority of the games seemed to be for kids. It has a childish feel about it. The color...the style and the games graphics. However when I played it I thought it was fun but just not something I was looking for. While Nintendo has always been in my console family - I was very dissapointed in my N64. I just didn't feel comfortable investing in something that doesn't have same (whats the word) well the PS2 and XBOX are faster. They've got more stuff - while the gamecube has far less. I have a feeling Nintendo will just come out with another console to catch up - but I feel they are a step behind. Now the XBOX...At first I couldn't wait for this thing to come out....then I played it. The games are not anything to write home about...the controller (I hear there is another controller now) but it sucked. For all the power and the hype of the Xbox - I wanted maybe not MORE titles but some GOOD ones. I know Microsoft will *FORCE* this to work - as they have money at their disposal...but other than that I have a feeling it will just be like my Dreamcast and sega.. unless it starts coming up with some great games...it isn't going to have anything on PS2...and some of the games on XBOX suck far worse than GC..and GC doesn't have the capabilities that XBOX has!! SO WTF? I don't know I"m ranting....GO PS2...I'd have to pick GC over Xbox just cuz its funner to play. Better titles...but the XBox has some potential..

Advice to everyone- Don't buy the console ports of JK2. I have both. They're nowhere near as good as the pc version, and the porting is quite inconsiderate in places. They're still fun, but I'd advise people to buy the pc version over the console versions :)

i'm going to get both. :D

Even though I don't have one (I own PS2), I voted for the XBox because I'll be getting one because of games like KOTOR. My younger brother has a Gamecube and a PS2... he never hooks up the Gamecube except in rare circumstances to play the Nintendo exclusive games (like Smash Bros, Metroid Prime, and Zelda when it comes out) which really aren't all that great.

I prefer my PS2 over the XBox and the Gamecube... the controllers for XBox and Gamecube just suck (XBox is too big, Gamecube too small, and the button layout on both suck). Only reason I'm getting and XBox will be for the exclusive games.

Exactly. That's what I said a few posts above. If you find the controller to big, you can get the S controller, exactly the same size as PS2. Visit http://www.xbox.com for more information on X-Box's hardware. They have more products then you might think.:)

stop complaining about xbox controlller, they have the controller s and it'll fit your hand just like the ps2 does. :p I just got my xbox off layaway tonight and am enjoying jet set radio future and am trying to enjoy gt 2002 (not really into racing games though, but this one is growing on me) it's 2 games on 1 cd, so i can't go and trade just one in, kinda sucks, but i'll just get myself mech assault, halo, turok evolution, and jedi outcast.

man lightspeed you are ignorant, if all you look for is size and user friendlyness stick with NES!

as for me its all about the games, I don't care what system people prefere if they like the games thats fine with me but if you have a lame reason like the controllers too big you need a life!

sorry if mods think this is a little to offensive. Please don't take it personally, I don't even know you. But it goes out to evryone who has lame reasons for not liking things, it almost makes me sick.

I like to flame and flame right back!

well what I meant by little kids is aproximatly 12 and under. five year olds whould be lucky if they could find the power button.

well I have played night fire on several systems, and its worst on gamecube, you cant deni that.

there are plenty of good games on x-box. If you just don't think there good, or want to know what we think are good fine, but if you don't know of many games besides halo, dont judge the system.

Morrowind exelent

Halo 2 the best

amped exelent

test drive is okay

I havent played that many myself but those are some.

The only game I like on game cube that I can't get on a nother system is smash brothers. but I havent played evry game.

for x-box the star wars rpg is the second best but I cant remember what it's called.

evry system has great games but I like less on game cube than I do on any of the other 2 main systems, even snes.

Another game you might want to look into is Splinter Cell. It is a great stealth game. You can do many sweet moves, and the game is 100% stealth. You can sneak up on people and knock them out or ask them for information regarding whatever. And you can drag bodies and hide them places so the guards don't find them and ring the alarm. It is a really cool game. Take my word for it. Check out http://www.xbox.com for the trailer.

BTW: Halo rocks!:D
