Starting today, you can earn "Credits" to be traded in for various "goodies" which are available at the LucasForums Store, located on the main LucasForums.Com page at this location .

You can earn Credits many different ways on the forums. Each time you post, your earn credits. The more people that read your post, the more points you earn. The more replies to your post, the more you earn. You can also donate credits to friends as well. In the Store you can track who has the most credits, and who's not far behind.

This is not an excuse to attempt to SPAM the boards, because if your post is deleted, you LOSE lots of credits.

This additional forum modification is being tested this week, and it may or may not stay on LucasForums long term.

Earning credits allows you to do a variety of functions you would otherwise NOT be allowed to do on the forums.

The prizes are subject to modification as we work out the bugs with this new feature.

In the meantime, enjoy the new feature.

and if you dont know what you can buy? click the following link:

I dont realy like it. i think on LF are enough spammers... who would love to be a mod for a day... and i think the other mods and admins would have to clean up the mess he made.

just my 2 cents

The mod for a day thing...sticky thing...that "could" get ugly.

STTCT, BlackDove told me he will be getting his name "glowed" when he gets 300 posts, look out for him.

And the mod-for-a-day should be a privilage only given to mature people.

I'll tell you what I think:

IT SUCKS!!!!

I hold this point of view for no other reason than when they implimented this "point system" my account got messed up!!!!

That's right... It's me Havoc Stryphe, and I'm a little bit preturbed!

It's not a password problem (i.e Crazy Dog) but every time I sign in it brings up a blank page and that's it. It won't accept my login, and it won't give a reason why...nothing!

So, in conclusion, if you fix my account, I won't hate your precious new "point system" anymore. Deal?

;)

Sure, poke fun at the poor disembodied apparition! :p

I'm floating here in the ether, a soul without a body and all you can do is laugh? :D

I'm just biding my time for Rhett, then he can make it all better... I hope. :(

Well, I am not near as good as coming up with questions as I am with coming up with answers.

Well, I'd come up with some new questions for you if I wasn't a disgruntled spirit at the moment! :p

for example:

In the Cartoon Series, Trasformers: Armada, what, primarily, are the Autobots and Decepticons searching for?

*Havoc's Spirit whistles to himself, as he rattles his chains and Waits for Rhett to come back and reunite Havoc with his former self. Suddenly he remembers what it was like to be Havoc Stryphe. *

Sigh... :(

Close enough! ;)

Of course I'm searching for my former account, and if I never find it, I will be forced to haunt this forum forever. Wandering in agony, lost in the world of the living, a spirit of the past.

Hey, maybe I could be remembered in a new forum story? :p

You know, if you got enough points, you could fix your own account by becoming a mod for a day. ;)

Or wait, can only admins do that?

Hmmm, now that's an idea. (I think only Admins can do that, but let's ignore that for now :p )

I shall quest for MOD for a day. At last, SPAMming for a great cause. Surely, that would justify my spamming, to fix my account?

Just promise me, whatever happens to me, you remember me fondly for things I did that were good, not for the spammer I will become. :p

With some notable exceptions (basically, any positions of authority), the point system is pretty cool. I also think that Havoc's spamming should be allowed: if GB.com screws him over, he should screw them over.

I feel your pain, Havoc. I've been there too.
