Now I know this will gain me a couple of enemies, but I have GOT to address this. Two of your members have been testing the likes of moderators lately. Those two members are Natty, and Yufster, they have been spamming the hell out of The Harbor, and I don't know what is the motivation here, but you mods need to be aware of this, as I have had many supermods from abroad come and clean up the obvious mess. Sorry for overstepping my boundries, but the Harbor is out of control in my opinion, and somebody needs to pm these two and tell them to get with it. I would do it myself, but I do not have jurisdiction at MI, so it would be more appropriet for a MI mod to do so. Sorry if this stirs up any problems, but it HAD to be addressed. The regular mods also do a good job. The whole porno thread being closed disgusted me. I mean, really. This forum doesn't need to be run in exactly the same way as all the Star Wars forums, and professor obi-wan shouldn't be sticking his nose in if he doesn't even post here. That is garbage, you people are not excempt from the rules of LucasForums, you are here becaue you are a part of LucasForums and you should except that. We start posting threads like that, we may as well say "posty your nekkid pic next". This discussion board is not amune to the rules, so I will revert to my last post, if you have a problem with this, I suggest you PM a LucasForum admin. This game is not a porno, and we don't need porno topics in the Harbor, in fact, I will work extensively with the mods of the harbor to clean up all the crap I have seen there in the past few weeks. Just because alot of you members may be older, does not give you the right to decide what is appropriet for the forums, that is OUR job, and if nobody agreed with me, the threads in question would still be open. I happen to know that two supermods from seperate areas of LF took a look over there today and said "What, is there no order over here?", and I could not answer the question, because I am not a mod here, but they are the ones who closed your threads and what not. Had I been a Supermod, I would have done the same thing a long time ago. You poeple are NOT exempt from the rules of LucasForums, and I suggest you all play from the same rules, or further threads will be closed/deleted and members will be banned, the same as anywhere else. I hate to be the one to break this to you, but this will not continue any longer as long as you are all a part of LF, you WILL abide by the rules of face the consequences. "The Lucasforum fanbase is on average 12 years old" ~You must be 13 years old to sign up, or have parental consent. That means that anyone under 13 who has signed up has already broken a "forum rule" and should therefore be banned or shot. Also, may I add, this is not the Star Wars forums. The Monkey Island / Mojo forums have never really needed an extremely strict set of rules, because, yes, the fanbase is generally older. In fact, the average Scumm Bar visitor is 18 years old. This is the Harbour. It has always been as lame as this. People post nonsenical nonsense, and that's exactly what people respond with. I've seen much much worse around the Star Wars forums, with users responding to around 50 threads with simple sentences just to up their postcount. If you had it your way, nobody would attend the harbour. People don't like being controlled by nazi idiots, a fact which is clarified in any good History class. And people are what are important. Because people means money from advertisements. If there was a huge problem, then the super mods that hang out here would have attended to it, like I've said before. The whole lucasforum network is intended for a family audience. If you can't follow the rules that all the other forums in the network abide by. Then i think the admins seriously need to rethink this forum. It could get out of hand and it makes the forums reputation look bad, and any porn attracts one thing perverts. And i really don't want perverts on LF. Even though i have no power on LF, i am not afraid to express my opinions. And speak my mind, and this i deffintley have done. Some over-zealous supermod came into a forum he'd never posted to before, and closed a completely innocuous thread. Another supermod, one who actually knows this forum, corrected his mistake. It was a bit of fun. There were no naked pictures of men or women (although i do think there was one censored pic). And I'm also pretty sure that people are not going to come here, see the word porn along with a few harmless pictures and say "Hey guys, this site has porn on it, lets be the perverts we are and stay here." it will not attract perverts. That said, it probably won't attract young children, but with the amout of swearing and innuendo not to mention the much worse sex related talk elsewhere on LF, they're not fit to be here anyway and if they do come along, then that's there choice. The pictures suggested a pornographic nature, just like most other things on this forum does (I remember not too long ago, a link-on about my favorite game ruined when someone started throwing disgusting and graphic sex into it and then everyone else followed on with it, trust me, much worse.) Then, I could only post in JKII.net. HOWEVER, I came back because I got some reports about that thread. I closed it, because it didn't look like the sort that needs to be posted. Now, a lot of crap has been said about me, and bottom line, I don't care, I do what I think is right no matter what people think about me. Call me over zealous, I don't care.
