BCanr2d2
Way back in my day, I could not go a morning, or an afternoon without watching my favourite cartoons. Overtime there were plenty, but here are the ones that stood out in my mind.... What are yours? G-Force - a cartoon version somewhat of the Thunderbirds, but different. Astroboy - beginning of the anime invasion. There are few that I cannot remember there names, but knew what they were on about, please feel free to name them if you remember them 1. Travelled in space on what looked like a 1940's battleship. Seemed to be lost, probably used a Star Trek kind of them here. Their special weapon was a super laser thing that came from the bow of the ship, as well as being able to create a circle of asteroids around them. 2. I should know this one, but they were 5 different coloured lions that joined together to make a giant robot to fight. These four I tried never to miss an episode ever, always up in the morning early enough to watch them before I got onto the school bus..... They were my older sister's. He-Man and She-Ra were her favorite shows.

Reb Starblazer
Travelled in space on what looked like a 1940's battleship. Seemed to be lost, probably used a Star Trek kind of them here. Their special weapon was a super laser thing that came from the bow of the ship, as well as being able to create a circle of asteroids around them. I believe the show you're talking about was called "Star Blazers":D It was about a reconstructed Yamato, a World War 2 Japanese battle cruiser that had been adapted for space travel. Their mission was to travel to a planet, and retrieve a cure for a deadly form of radiation that was slowly killing the Earth. Personally, I think my favourite shows as a child were M.A.S.K., G.I. JOE, and Transformers, but I also loved a lot of the shows that people have already listed. We had such good cartoons back then, didn't we? Unlike now... Rogue Nine
Originally posted by BCanr2d2 G-Force - a cartoon version somewhat of the Thunderbirds, but different. Are you sure about that? Because I think that's the American name for the anime Gatchaman. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I remember watching that too.
