-s/<itzo-
its a bit corny in some ways. the 3D computer graphics are impressive for 1981 film. it has a lot of action scenes and fights that keep the atmosphere tense. overall the movie is not that bad. thumbs up

griff38
SNAKE! I thought you were dead. 1rst movie I ever saw that had a Mac-10. How about that scene where he cuts an escape route thru the wall with it? Oh and Chef from Southpark is the head badguy.
StormHammer
Yep...I saw it when it was first released, and I enjoyed it. I was sort of a Carpenter fan at one time...Assault on Precinct 13, the remake of The Thing, Halloween I and II...and They Live... Apart from Kurt Russel EFNY also starred Lee Van Cleef and Ernest Borgnine...and I think Donald Pleasance played the President, didn't he? It's worth viewing if you've never seen it before. I haven't seen the sequel (Escape from LA), because I was told it was quite poor in comparison.
WolfmanNCSU
Yeah, I have seen both of them, NY and LA. I was not a big fan of either though.
