rad-x
I'm looking forward to this. And why didn't he get his arm back? We in this piffling century can do it? Why can't they? Sorry. Lets discuss the following things.... Where will this fight be? How will it begin - Obi sees him kill Mace or Count Dooku gets killed, Obi kicks Annie's nut in, leaves, Palpatine picks him up in a Lamda Class Shuttle and acknowledges his ascent to sit beside him? What colour of lightsabre will Anakin fight with - his light one, or will his lightsabre be broken in the fight and then he gets a new one? Will Padme be killed and then....? Get the idea? Talk.... Pedro The Hutt
Well he'll definatly make another blue one before turning to the dark side. And I think that the ultra-freaky golden see through arm was just a temporal one untill he was able to get another one,but he seemed to be in a hurry to get to Naboo and get hitched. PatoriaN
yeah, that would be sweet to see Anakin kill Mace then starts fighting with Obi but it wouldnt make sense, that he is able to take on Mace (number 2 Jedi) and not Obi, unless he got him in the back.... Pedro The Hutt
Which probably wouldn't work, he could sense him approaching and the hum of a lightsaber would be a bit of a dead give-away.

boinga1
it's quite possible that obi himself will brush the dark side to defeat ani, in the turmoil over his failure as a teacher and ani's failure as a student.
rad-x
Yeah I think so too. And his belief that it his fault makes a 33 year old man want to stay on Tatooine for 24 years to look after the last hope in the galaxy (apart from his sister of course, but Carrie Fisher? No. She wasn't the kind of actress. Last time I checked she hated the entire franchise. Harrison Ford as well maybe, but I think he was just bitter because he'd spent 18 tough years or so acting and then becoming an overnight sensation. He did say to Lucas once: "You can write this stuff George, but you sure as hell can't say it!" or some variation on that.). Weird guy.

rad-x
Episode II was much better than the cringe-inducing and pathetic Ewok battle in Return of the Jedi. I still can't watch that bit again.

Clemme w/Stick
Originally posted by swatteam i hope they show the jedi purge Yeah, me 2! I think that Anakin gets expelled from the Jedi Order, for marrying Padme. When he got expelled he got filled with hatred and anger. He then wanted revenge, or something, for expelling him, and turned to Sidious for help. Sidous took him as his Padawan, and let him hunt down the Jedi and killing them off one by one. Now that the Jedi are lost and confused over this mystirious[sp?] killer, and sent Obi-Wan to protect the now pregnant Padme (We all know how this happened !). Somewhere along this line Anakin reveals himself to Obi-Wan, and tells him that he now serves a new master. Obi-Wan who is obviously confused tells Anakin that its not too late to turn back, and still be on the good side. Anakin refuses, ignites his red lightsaber and plunges into a fierce duel with his former Mentor Obi-Wan. Anakin makes a mistake and is thrown into a vulcanic thingy, and becomes Darth Vader w/Suit.... Well, thats how I hope it ends, if you think it ends in the same way go here... -Clemme

Pedro The Hutt
altough now I wonder if Obi-Wan really meant what he said about "your father wanted you to have this, when you were old enough" while handing his old lightsaber to Luke, it would be neat if a scene on that got done. Andy867
Originally posted by whiteknight Anakin has the same saber but darker ive got a picture somewhere but i think mace will be killed by aqn avenging boba fett for he killed his dad. Rick McCallum and G.L. have both confirmed that Boba Fett will only be 13 or 14 years old, and still to small to fit into the bounty hunter Armor. He will be just beginning his descent into the ways of the bounty hunter/mercenary. And being 14 at most is hardly impressive to kill a Jedi Master, more less Mace Windu for that matter. Look how careless he got against Luke in ROTJ. And you expect him to kill Mace..Not a chance. Plus Samuel L Jackson said that since his character is eventually going to have to die, he wants to go out all dramatic like he should. I have a hunch that Sidious will use his "charm" and manipulative ways as a politician to convince Anakin to let him train him personally after Mace kills Dooku, and when Obi-wan discovers that Palpatine is in fact Darth Sidious, he and Mace go after Palpatine, only to be confronted by Anakin who is merely trying to prove his loyalty by defending his master. Itd make the most sense. Anakin has even said that Palpatine has given him guidance before, so why not train him. Sidious will convince Anakin that the Dark Side is the more powerful of the two, which Anakin is wanting, to become the most powerful Jedi ever. And with Sidious to guide him or something along those lines, he will succumb to the dark side.
SE_Vader_536
wait one moment here.
