Hannibal
I read on the Bioware forums that they are working on them. If they can get them to work they'll put them in otherwise... I imagine if they can't get it to work by June(for the XBox version) but they do get it to work then it will be in the PC version. I'll look for the actual quote then put it here. Cloaks would be cool but they won't make or break the game for me.
leXX
It would be cool, but it won't spoil the game or anything if they don't have them, just imho!
Bob Gnarly
that would be amazing to get a cloak and run around in it , will i be able to bring everything from SP to MP?
Uber_Saber
There is no MP. Cloaks sounds great, though.
Taos
I think that having cloaks would add one more element of realism to the game! I really hope they have them in there.......but only if they can make them look good, if not, then they sholdn't bother.

dark jedi 8
nope, no MP, though the idea of utilizing x-box live for downloadable content is in the air, it may or may not happen.

Guest Jed
Heh, Leemu's right, Galaxies is the MMORPG. Pay2Play sucks, so KOTOR is still supreme. Cloaks! Wow, that would be cool. I figure that would be hard to do, if you've ever dabbled in modeling cloaks are tricky. If it's in the game, then that's great. If it's not, meh. Uber_Saber
Ok, that is really a disturbing number of exclamation points. However, I do agree with the basic thrust of your post.
Swat
how abt sith cloaks? are there such things? darth maul n sidious (forever wearing one) wore cloaks in ep 1 rite
Taos
I think that if there were jedi cloaks, one could safely assume that there will be cloaks on the sith as well [if there was a need for it].
Hannibal
Ok, I went back and searched for it and it's totally gone now. They must have removed it. Some of the guys there have been known to give to many details.
ultimaster
what is the purpose of the cloaks?? Do they just look cool?? or do they serve an actual purpose?? Either way they do look pretty cool.
Swat
well, jedi are suppose to wear them in the ep1 era becos of the jedi code. n they muz not be too dark-looking like wat anakin wore in ep2, black all over. but it may be a different case in this era though

boinga1
cloaks could maybe be like an inventory item. something you can bring along for disguise on a stealth mission, or maybe to intimidate onlookers and discourage question-asking
DarthMuffin
A Jedi w/o his cloak is not a real jedi:D IMO, cloaks are a must, and they are missing badly in JK2.
StormHammer
To cloak or not to cloak, that is the question. The problem with any kind of free-flowing material is that you expect it to be free-flowing, and if it doesn't look right, then it's not worth it. The bonus would be, if they could get it working properly, is that you are then not restricted in terms of other apparel - you could then have decent looking dresses that ripple properly when you move, and things like that. So that's my view...if they can make realistic-looking cloth movement without too much of a hit on the framerate, then they should go for it, and apply it across the board, not just to cloaks. Toa Tahu
Why not?Cloaks are good stuff, but a bit cumbersome.Imagine this. What if you're using a dual/dual bladed saber, and suddenly one end of the saber catches your robe and cuts it/burn it. PC Jedi:"Aah!Fire!" OR PC Jedi:"Aah!My cloak!" Make it cheap, one thing,Bioware. So that we don't see Jedi running around cloakless, whining for a cloak just because it's expensive/not cheap. I agree. Cloaks should be cheap to buy. The one thing I find frustrating with NWN (SP) is that some things are far too expensive. I'm halfway through the game with as much cash as I could muster, and I'm still falling far short of the cost of some equipment. I hope they make it much more balanced in Knights.
