Movies you have seen thus far? (and summer movies!)

Recommended Posts

It says in my profile that I love movies...which I do, but lately, I've been a little behind in the movies I've seen. =/

I have just recently seen.....

  • Bourne Identity [loved it, bought it on dvd :D]
  • The Ring [watched it on Sunday night, freaked me out :(:D]
  • Field of Dreams [last night, what a classic movie....you HAVE to like that movie]

Future movies....

*looks at avatar*

  • Probably the two Matrix movies this year. :D
  • Terminator 3 for sure!
  • Xmen 2

I'm forgetting a couple but those are the most important ones that I know about so far. :)

Definitely classic.

I just recently saw Memento. This was great, rent it.

I joined Netflix last month so I've seen a couple. Some were bad like Pluto Nash(how come this didn't go straight to video?).

I want to see The Ring now and my sister said Amelie was good. But she's a girl so I don't trust her to much.;)

The Ring......*shudders*

I didn't know that Lynk.

Most movies don't freak me out too much, but the ring was a great movie. :D

Hannibal, you have to see it a couple of times to 'figure it out.' Then again, you could understand it the first time......I've seen it three times now. :)

btw Han- I like your new sig pic. :)

Recent movies I've seen :

Gangs of New York - Decent flick, but it got a bit too wild at the end. The firemen were a riot though!

Catch Me If You Can - First Leonardo movie I've really liked. Funny, witty, I loved it.

Ringu - Japanese version of The Ring. I thought it f*cking sucked. Scary my ass.

Looking forward to Bruce Almighty ( Jim Carrey fan ), Matrix sequels, X-Men 2.

Most recent flick I saw was Gods & Generals. I liked it, mainly cause of Stonewall, so it was good IMO.

I know it was last year, but I saw Adaptation and loved it, probably one of my all time favorite movies. (Spike Jonze is agreat director)

I also saw "The Pianist", but alas that was last year. It was still fantastic though, and Adrian Brody truly deserved the best Actor award, which he recieved.

Watched "DreamCatcher" this weekend, with the animatrix movie "Final Flight of the Osiris" playing right before it. The fact that "Final Flight" was so good, made "DreamCatcher" seem even worse... I didn't enjoy this movie, and I don't really recommend it, but watch it if you want to.

I saw "DareDevil" a good while ago now, but I thought that was terrific. If you haven't seen it yet, you should. I thought "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" was rather good as well. Also, I saw "The Recruit" a while ago. AMAZING movie. All of you go watch it. Now. Go!:D

Basic looks really good, Bulletproof Monk looks like it might turn out to be a good action flick. Can't wait for Kill Bill, even though it doesn't come out until Fall(but I'll mention it here anyway:D). I'm of course also looking forward to Terminator 3, X-Men 2, and The Matrix : Reloaded, just like everyone else though.;)

I've gotten over the whole stuperhero's (yes stuper) in tights/leather/rubber thing... sure they had that in X-Men but X-Men was a suprisingly good movie all round.

Well, it might be good, but I have serious doubts. It feels more like an attempt to cash in on a successful franchise than a serious attempt at making a good movie.

Anyway, can you remember last time you saw Arnold in a good movie? Didn't he also agree to doing T3 just because of the fact all of his latest movies bombed at the box office? Originally, he didn't want to do it, but decided otherwise to make som $$$.

At least I thought I read that somewhere...
