Breton
Medic. Plain and simple. My morals are not to take someone's life, wich means I probably wouldn't join the army anyways.
swphreak
Said by ShockV1.89: Anyway, I'd probably want to be the guy who gets to cart around the missiles on the flight deck. Because then I could drive that little car around with missiles on the back, and everyone would get out of my way. Hells yeah. heeeey that sounds like fun If I were to join the army, I'd do something that involved computers or something. but I'd rather join the Air Force. I've always wanted to pilot. I am facinated by Air Planes. andI agree with Niner on the Sniper. I doubt any of you could do it, I know I couldn't, but if I had to do it... i probably could, but I would be mentally scarred and still suck at it. ckcsaber
I have been seriously thinking about joining the armed forces after I graduate HS. My family isn’t that rich, so by joining I could help pay for college, and serve my country. If I was in the armed forces I would want to be a Marine. They are probably the best soldiers the USA has got……plus I’’ve seen Aliens waaaaaaaaay too much

C'jais
Maybe lieutenant or sergeant in the army. No way you'll ever get me on a ship for two months, and as I have bad eyesight I'm not going to be a fighter pilot anytime soon. But hey, when I get drafted next year, I'm sure I'll find out how it feels like. I might even like it.

ckcsaber
Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

Darth Groovy
I am a former Navy Journalist. JOSN, to be exact. I would never have joined the Army, but my GF leaves for basic in the fall...
XWING5
ARMY, HOOAH! AIRBORNE! And as far as the sniper thing goes: It does take patience and a strong disposition, but you'd be surprised at the number of those who can do it. That's why there is a school for it - it trains you to see the enemy as nothing but an inanimate object, a thorn in the side of humanity, or something to that extent. Think about vigilante who honestly thinks he is doing a good thing by taking out the bad element.
TheHobGoblin
Let's all remember Srg. York. He never wanted to kill but it came to the point where he realized he had to. So I would think what he thought

I KNOW snipers, I've DEALT with snipers, I've STUDIED snipers, I've handle sniper rifles before. I know the risks, and I'm not afraid to die. I don't think it's "cool" being a sniper. IT's a rough job...sometimes lying in one position for hours on end, if not days, crapping your pants...hot, sweaty, awhile moving a couple of inches per hour. It's a tough job..and definetly too "glorified" by TV.
