setsuko Posted April 19, 2003 Posted April 19, 2003 You can put your items up for sale on sort of bazaars, the last beta update hinted at that. The actual update was that if you bought an item located in, say, Mos Espa, by a terminal located in Mos Eisley, the item would be sent there, so you didn't have to walk to the actual location. This means that the only thing limiting the prices you can charge is whether people will buy it from you or not. If someone in another town puts a similar product up at a better price, you won't sell a lot. If you charge too little, you won't make any money. That is the balancing act that is playing a merchant, and what makes such professions adventurous and fastpaced at times, too! And standard prices... since only items at beginner level will be available at NPC vendors, there really won' t be any other standard prices than what the merchants sell for. Which puts power in the hands of the merchant players. Which, I think, is really good and keep things interesting.

I, for one, am going to try and go for blue tattoos and as many horns as I can fit on my head heh...
