They don't normally tend to go out spectacularly - they just crash and crash and crash. At least that's what happened when my CPU fan stopped working. Luckily it didn't fry - damn good heatsink.

Uhm...I dont think much else is Important, If you wanna know other specs, just ask me.

 

EDIT- Change Maztor to Maxtor with a lil help ;)

Yes, my comp before that was an HP with:

 

A 500 Mhz P3

RIVA TNT Graphics

128 MB RAM

And a crappy sound card.
