Practice Sneaking and stealing, and once you're really good at picking locks and disarming traps and whatnot, goto Vivec, and in the Redoran, Telvanni, and Hlaalu houses there are vaults where you can steal much goods.

Thanks for the advice, ill get that up, but how do I get stealing and sneaking up? Steal more?

To get sneak up, just place something heavy on the sneak key (usually ctrl) while in the presence of another person (make sure the person isn't moving). Then, go out or watch some TV for a few hours, and when you return you'll have gained a few levels and several ranks in sneak.

To get security up, just pick locks and pockets like there's no tomorrow.

And may I remind you, that if you should ever visit the Vivec guard barracks, there's some nifty Indoril amour (value ~ 3000 a piece) free for the taking in some chests. Just make sure nobody's looking ;)

That's the idea, yeah.

Or behind. Whenever you see the sneak icon flashing erratically when you're near a person, you know it's improving the skill.

To train athletics, just hit the "eternal move forward button" while swimming fast into a pole. Skill increase in no time.

My favourite is Alchemy. Just go to the alchemist in Balmora, buy some equipment and some cheap ingredients for potions and then start to level up. It shouldn't take more than an hour to get you to lvl 100, and then you can make some pretty good potions, and sell them for loads of profit.

And even better: Make a good deal of fortify intelligence potions. Because it is your intelligence that determines the amount of effect (and the prize ;)) of your potions. So make three, drink three, make three, drink three, and so on. And then you can get some truly superb potions. By this tactic, I made easily about 1000 water breathing potions, each with a value of about 1000 gold. So there you have 1,000,000 gold. But still, don't overuse this tactic, or else the game gets way too easy.

But apart from being a good source of money, alchemy has lots of other good sides too. In many occations, it is better than magic, for example it is much easier to drink a healing potion in combat than performing a healing spell. And levetating is always best with potions.

BTW, about sneaking: My favourite place to do the tactic mentioned earlier, is that trade shop in Balmora, the one that's owned by an imperial. Just sneak down the stairs behind him and wait until the little pickpocket thing comes up. Make sure you get more sneaking experience, and then weigh down your ctrl.

I was going along on an adventure when I see this lady running towards me, she asks for an escort and i accept the challenge, -10 minutes later- we are there and she doesent give me my money, then two flying things come along, i have low health because of enemies before and i couldnt heal until next day, so i ran away, then the flying enemies attack me, i barely survive but kill them, and i go back to her and she is dead, i search her body and I stole 500 gold from her! :D that'll teach her!

Try to train in one of the guilds. I believe the figthers guild will train block for a fair price. But remember to make the trainers like you, so that you won't have to pay that much. Unless you have a very high speechcraft, bribing will be the best way to do this.

I'm thinking of getting this game, but I'm not sure.

To be honest, aside from System Shock 2 and Deus Ex I've never played an RPG - ever. I did hear that Morrowind is very user friendly, and you don't need to be an RPGer to appreciate it. What do you think?

Ok, Ok, I lied. About 9 hours! Plus, my cousin helped me out too, and hes a master at that game.

I found the boots from a lady that said like "Take me here and I'll give you a gift." Well, when she follows you, shes FAAAAAAAAAAST. Anyways, I got bored of her following me, so I killed her. Then, my cousin got the blind curse off from this one town, you need like tis levitating potion, then you need to go up and blah blah blah.

Also, I have this one weapon, I think its called the Katana, and Its supposedly the best blade in the game. My cousin got that for me too.
