You should listen to mOBSCENE, his latest (I think).

I'm patiently awaiting his new album. Of course, most of you could have figured I listened to this sort of "music".

Obi, what music do you like?

What with your guitar and Georgia location, I see you as the mastermind behind the "O Brother, where art thou?"-soundtrack. If you haven't heard it yet, definately check it out.

I heart Down to the river and pray, anyway. Which might come as a surprise.

Rogue, do not compare that band to Garbage. I seriously that would be wrong for a review simply on the fact that the lead is a woman.

They are NOT alike. KStar has it done on the button. It IS linkin park with a female voice.

NOT GARBAGE.

thank you :)

Actually, O brother is one of my favorite soundtracks.

As Dwight Yolkem once said: "Guitars, Cadillacs and hill-billy music- the only things that keep me hangin on."

Some of Garbage's songs are quite similar to Evanescence's. I dunno, maybe I listen to them differently or something.

And off the CD, the first four songs are excellent, for different reasons. "Going Under" is the thematic song of the CD. It exemplifies the "fallen" aspect of the album. You've heard the second song, "Bring Me To Life" which is a great collaboration effort with Paul McCoy. "Everybody's Fool" is another darkly intriguing piece that has elements of depression and rejection and Amy Lee's wide vocal range really captures both aspects well. "My Immortal" is my absolute favorite song off the album. Unlike the rest of the CD, it's a great instrumental piece with no guitars or percussion, only piano, just a bit of violin and Lee's excellent vocals.

Check out the album. It's a keeper.
