My parents aren't going to be too happy...

I have the 2.1 version of those for my 2nd computer. They're ok. Good for music.

I have the THX-approved Altec Lansing 4.1 ADA 885s on my main computer. They rock! The best sounding PC speakers I have personally heard. I wish they had the center channel,.. but I usually dont miss it.

Hmmm... I still have you all beat.

The P.A. system I mix on at work is at least 15,000 watts.

I can burst eardrums and cause permanent hearing damage in the last row of a 1,200 seat theater any time I want.

We are updating all the power amps with much higher rated ones soon, so it will most likely be a lot louder when we're done.

So there.

:joy:

My friend down the street wasted carefully considered, and bought the huge speakers and Bass thingies for his car. So now when he drives through the neighbor hood, you can hear him driving in... My dad has threatened to steal the speakers if he ever comes down the street with the music on :D

What is it with big speakers and blasting music?

To be honest, I'm surprised mine haven't... I've only got, oh, about 5600 watts of speaker in my room, and more than enough amp to power it. Did I mention it's currently hooked up to my computer? I had 'em cranked one day (for testing purposes, of course), and the bass vibrated the power cord out the back of my box.
