Donnie Darko Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 C'mon Set, you're ruining the fun of an argument...haha, just kidding.
setsuko Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 That's why I can't visit the US. I'm wanted in 13 states, and have a federal warrent for my arrest, due to my multiple acts of party pooping. I have no remorse! They had it coming!

Deft Aklin Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 Originally posted by ShadowGecko yeah 65 does seem a bit short. i was actually thinking more like around 100... but anyway if it got too far then you'd have to worry about dip... but then again you really wouldn't because in star wars you don't really use bullets... but i guess shots would be really off if they were too far away... unless you were some sort of freak. Mind you in Jedi Knight 2, the sniper rifle in that (forget the name) does got pretty car, and it's pretty accurate. But that's a completely different concept for the snipering... so i don't know... just have to wait until the game comes out. Actually, in most Star Wars RP games, snipers still use archaic fire arms because of the silencing capability. Blasters cannot be silenced, so they immediately give away the snipers position.
Lord_Vessen Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 I see said the blind man...Also Set what states would those be?

Chewbacco Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Originally posted by -=ReApEr=- And i would guess blasters wouldn't be silent, it's the way they are in the sw universe. What if they have silencers or they make silencers to kill the unexpected one by one.
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Originally posted by Chewbacco What if they have silencers or they make silencers to kill the unexpected one by one. I don't understand.
Lord_Vessen Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 I think he's stating; what if there are silencers?
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Originally posted by Lord_Vessen I think he's stating; what if there are silencers? But there aren't any, we have all said that already.
Lord_Vessen Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Exactly so if you are an assasin of some sort you should use a knife. Or your fists.
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 Originally posted by Lord_Vessen Exactly so if you are an assasin of some sort you should use a knife. Or your fists. Bounty hunters should use sniper rifles or there fists in my opinion.
True Neutral Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 and grappling hooks. Some darts would be nice too...
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 Originally posted by ShadowGecko and grappling hooks. Some darts would be nice too... Grappling hooks would be no use, since you can't jump in the game.
Jan Gaarni Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 Grappling hooks would be no use, since you can't jump in the game. Unfortunatly, that's true.
darthfergie Posted June 4, 2003 Posted June 4, 2003 BTW, how to bounty hunters capture? Knock somebody out and drag their unconcious body to the bounty depo/somethingorother? Or will it be like SW bounty hunter where you verify they are the person you need to capture, then tie them up in cord and bang...cash.
Jackrabbit Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 I think that once the BH incaps the bounty they get the money (if wanted alive). If dead, once they deal the final blow.
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Originally posted by Jackrabbit I think that once the BH incaps the bounty they get the money (if wanted alive). If dead, once they deal the final blow. Sounds ok to me, and sounds like that will be how it works.
True Neutral Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Originally posted by -=ReApEr=- Grappling hooks would be no use, since you can't jump in the game. That's absurd... you can do rolls and stuff, but you can't do one measily jump. What about jedi... can't they even force jump out of things???
Jackrabbit Posted June 5, 2003 Posted June 5, 2003 Nope, sorry. For some reason, the devs can make this awesome game, but they can't get the Y axis figured out . That means no jumping, and no low level flying when the Space Expansion comes out. A lot of people were angry that it wasn't realistic, so they put a jumping animation in. It doesn't give you any height though.
