Broken Sword 3: Demo and Website?

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any idea when the Broken Sword 3 website will be up? I'm sure revolution mentioned something about it being up this month (or was it next?).

Also someone said something about the demo being out in July?

I may be completely wrong (can't remember where I read either hehe), but does anyone know?

The game is (apparently) being unleashed in October, so hopefully we'll get a demo before then. I hope it's more adventure than it is action, from what I've seen in screenshots it looks like George is gonna be pushing a few crates ¬

It won "JustAdventures E3 game of the year" or something stupid like that. See here for the article, which includes JA licking boots and - cussing other adventure game sites.

Tobacco! Don't push Diamond and Marek over the edge now-- after all, Marek's weilding his new Monkey wrench!

Scabb: BS3 is an adventure game, fear not. It's apparently got a few of the same type of timed sequences that BS1 & 2 had, which is no sweat and still qualifies for the pure adventure category. Revolution has never plastered it with an action/adventure label; quite the opposite. No armor, no axes, no shields, no melee, no spellcasting, no machine guns, no split-second leaps over spike-spewing pits... Just 3D on the video and our beloved Rolf (and a mystery gal's Nico) on the audio. :D

PS/ Hey Diamond, if you're out there, did you cast Nico yet? Is the voice work underway now? And when *is* that demo coming?

Apparently THQ want to do a really special website for BS3, I would expect a demo shortly before release to catch some last minute pre fanzine.

The demo will probably most largely be the same as the E3 demo I would guess, with some tweaks and such things as voices added.

I read some interview with Cecil in which he stated that there are slim chances that demo will be ever presented for wider public.

As for action sequences I agree with Minny. I've just recently finished BSII and must say that it contained a lot of time and action sequences. I don't think that BSIII will be any different in spirit and with the role that action sequences play in BS series.
