-=ReApEr=- Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Ok people, i thought i would make this thread to see what other peoples planned out characters skill points would be. And to show mine off. So i will start. Master Marksman Master Scout Master Bounty Hunter Then with the left over skill points, i invested in the brawler tree. And decided to master the Unarmed Specialization skill section, all the others are empty as one i have no points left. And two i have no use for them, ok people your turn now.
True Neutral Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I'm not 100% sure what... but I like the look of... The Brawler Profession Pistoling and Scout As you can tell, I've put zero though into it. Just some skills that i think will be cool.
Jackrabbit Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I used this website to make my character. I have a lot of stuff, but in the end I still have 1 SP left. I first listed the tree, then I listed what level I went up to. Ex: Marksman - Pistol Specialist. In the Marksman skill tree, I mastered the pistol section. Artisan – Engineering IV Complex Systems Brawler – Expert Unarmed Specialization Intermediate One-Hand Sword Specialization Marksman – Pistol Specialist Carbine Specialist Expert Ranged Weapon Support Abilities Intermediate Rifle Skill Carbineer – Master Carbineer Pistoleer – Advanced Pistol Tactics Master Pistol Marksmanship Expert Pistol Stances and Grips Expert Pistol Special Abilities Smuggler – Underworld II Fast Talker Dirty Fighting II Shooting Wild Weaponsmith – Advanced Firearms Crafting What do you guys think. Would that make a good Mercenary?
Donnie Darko Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 -Fiba'ona Takalyyn- Artisan: Domestic Arts IV Business III Surveying II Brawler: Master Unarmed Specialization Scout: Exploration IV Trapping I Hunting IV Survival II Tailor: Master Tailor Teras Kasi: Master Teras Kasi Skill Point Left: 1

Vesentac Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Click me to get a program that calcs the skills A decent program that could use some work. you'll be able to explore and check if you can tranverse skill trees.

Yes you can make weapons and armor but they wont be effective. Yes, your skills sound nice from a RP point of view but I'm not sure if it's going to fly in the game.
Jackrabbit Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Yes, your skills sound nice from a RP point of view but I'm not sure if it's going to fly in the game. Yeah, that's something I've been worried about. Also, I must haved missed that Smugglers need to master Unarmed. Is it just me, or does that seem a little...dumb? Oh well, maybe I'll have enough points when I ditch Weaponsmithing. The only reason I got it is, again, for RP. It won't have any ingame value to me, so I'll probably get rid of it.
Luey Fubar Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I havn't thought about it much, but I know I'll be a melee weapon smith and Melee swordsman. Me and a few real-life friends are gonna' own a shop on naboo if it all goes to plan.
Devlyyn Sarr Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I've changed my planned out skill tree so many times its not even funny. I think i'm just going to wait till I start playing to see how things work out.

sexxxy_mark Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Originally posted by Bogo Fertt BOGO FERTT Master Marksman/Master Artisan/Master Bounty Hunter:fett: you need master scout for bounty hunter as well as master marksman master brawler/marksman/smuggler then some points in medic for some self help, if that proves sucky then i'll just get some pistoleer skills. u can just call me thongo solo... i mean *ahem* mark the sexy smuggler. i will make it a point to walk around without pants and a shirt until someone gets mad.

swphreak Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Starting Profession: Brawler [Master it] Second Profession: Marksman [Master it] Third Profession: Scout [Exploration 1 and Hunting 4] Fourth Profession: Creature Handler [Master it] Skill points remaining: 1/250 at least with the site Jackrabbit showed...
Vesentac Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Now that I think about it, I dont believe you are allowed to surrender skills required by the hybrid or adv profession. IE. Master scout and marksman for BH. Once you take on the BH profession you cannot surrender your scout or marksman skills unless you surrender the BH skill. Get it? Can anyone with an adv profession confirm this? I was hit by the char wipe and very few ppl are in the adv combat professions on my server

Sounds about good to me.

I was hit by the char wipe and very few ppl are in the adv combat professions on my server say u are a master bounty hunter. that means u have master scout and master marksman. that means u have to forget (surrender) the master bounty hunter skills before u forget master scout and master marksman. you can forget skills as long as its in order of learning. forgetting is in the game so that ppl can have a truly versatile character, and so ppl wouldnt have to make multiple characters along with the mules and such.
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 22, 2003 Author Posted June 22, 2003 But i don't know why you would ever dream of forgetting your Bh skills.

Deft Aklin Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 I'm going to have to check once I'm in game again, because we used to be able to surrender lower skills after attaining the higher profession. I am unsure if this is still in or if it will make release though. After a lot of thought, I've decided on these professions, though I will not release exact numbers: Marksman Scout Medic Creature Handler Bio-Engineer Pistoleer

Deft Aklin Posted June 22, 2003 Posted June 22, 2003 Yep, and I'm going to take those Rancors, genetically engineer them with Purbole Stalker AI and let them loose on Corellia. Did I say that out loud? Let the chaos begin.
