Matt-Liell Posted July 9, 2003 Posted July 9, 2003 Well today is opening day and I just got back from seeing it. One word: AMAZING! It was a great mix of effects, adventure and comedy! Johnny Depp was hilarious. The effects were done really well conisdering that it was made by Disney. I highly reccomend seeing this movie! I'd say more about it but I don't want to spoil it! Anybody else seen it?

RoguePhotonic Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 I never tried morrowwind but I like the game...it's one of those free to do whatever you want type games...it has really nice graphic's also... So far in the game the only connection with the movie is some talk about the black pearl...and I ran into a couple of the pirates I couldn't kill. The game has a couple flaws though...like the loan shark...you can take all the money you want from him and he says he has ways to get his money back but never comes after you...then don't come back for months and when you do he is all pissed saying "you have come to pay me back?...don't bother...I lost so much you could never pay it off"....then he says the only thing that will make him happy is to see me dead...nothing happens and then I borrow more money from him lol...

RoguePhotonic Posted July 12, 2003 Posted July 12, 2003 ERRR games piss me off...I had to fight some fort...I won...then you have to start a land battle and I lost...so had to reload and fight the fort again which was not easy in the first place and now it's invincible...I have tried over and over....nothing...so that's it?..game over?..... has to be a bug or something...

RoguePhotonic Posted July 12, 2003 Posted July 12, 2003 ugh the AI in this game is starting to piss me off...I start attacking this fort right...well first of all it starts me backwards so it takes me a sec to get turned around and be facing the thing....the whole time it's pounding the **** out of me and then I am still out of range so by the time I can hit it solidly I am at about 50% health....I tell my ships to attack...do they??...NOOO....they G the **** out...they just leave the whole area.....this is true with all the battles....they will fire on things when in range and facing it right but wont attack it....infact the only real reason to have other ships with you is they can be a decoy and get hit while I take out everyone... the only reason I won the battle the first time is I had a smaller ship with me and it was closer to the fort...guess because of it's size it started there...so the fort blasted it before starting on me...so now stuck fighting it alone since all my ships are battleships....

To short I think...to easy also...that fort **** was a joke...I found out that there was a second set of things to upgrade yourself with...so played through most of the game without them...was super easy once I used that...

(actually that was probably daggerfall, the game's prequel) sorry, need to get a hold of myself
