Orion: Empty threats from another arrogant immortal. If one life must be sacrificed for the many, then---

Rwos: Orion, please...

Adriana: No, Orion. We're killing no one. No. Matter. What.

Orion: Even if the apocalypse would be prevented if we did so?

Figure: But it cannot be. The girl will live, even if killed here. And if she is killed, many, many more will die. That is all I can tell you.

*Rwos' comlink buzzes. He picks it up. Trillan speaks from the other end*

Trillan: Time's up, kiddies! Unless you want company, it's time to split. Give the Aesir your goodbye kisses and get out.

Rwos: We need more time. There's still questions...

Trillan: Well, I can't hold them off by my lonesome.

Rwos: Orion, Evan, return to Akasha Tower. Help Trillan buy us some time. We'll be along as soon as possible.

*before Rwos's comlink goes off*

Odin: If you continue along this path, I will kill you right here.

*Svafa unsheathed a sword behind her chair and laid it on her lap.*

What you failed to understand her life is more important then the inhabitants of some worlds. And Rwos already knows to what lenght my people will go, just to protect one life we deem important.

*Rwos's comlink...*

Your free to leave, however do take my threats seriously I don't waste words on empty ones.

*6 armed Einherjar enter the room*

They will escort you out.

Orion: No, they will not. *She takes out her teleporter* I care not for your machinations or the machinations of my ancestors, and if they endanger me and mine, I will do anything I can to stop them. I would hope we don't meet again, "Lord Odin."

*Blue streams of energy run up and down her body and she vanishes in a flash of blue light*

Evan: Um. I don't have a teleporter handy, so I suppose your guards can escort me out...

Odin: Rwos, you had better hope Orion doesn't cross the path of the Aesir again. You may also want to prey to whatever gods you worship that she doesn't cross this child. I might not even have to kill her if that happens.

*The Einherjar walk Evan out of the room*

Now I wonder if any of you deserve to hear anymore of this.

Rwos: She won't kill anyone. I know her. I'm sorry she was rude but she isn't a danger, even if she blusters otherwise.

Adriana: *in an apologetic tone* We have the incantation. If you would rather we all leave, we will...though we were told we would need your word on this to understand it...

Adriana: I ah...we don't know. The Scrolls weren't too specific. *she looks at the silent figure, hoping she/it would give a hint. She is disappointed*

Rwos: Besides those of us who came here, who else will be involved in this affair?

Figure: Anyone who becomes so.

Rwos: But...well then. The Scrolls mentioned names, but put no substance behind them. What are these names there for?

Figure: They are those whose fates bring them to this intersection of time.

Warren: How much time do we have before the apocalypse?

Figure: I do not know. The device that can challenge fate and twist time clouded that which my masters and mistresses could see.

Rwos: *eyes widening* You're talking about the Time Matrix.

Figure: That is what you would call it, yes.

Rwos: Then someone's going to find the Time Matrix again and cause another apocalypse? This is what this is all about?

Figure: No. The Ellemists' creation will play a part, as it has already, but it is out of your reach, like the keys. It, however, is not the key.

Adriana: What exactly is going to cause this apocalypse? Specifically, can you tell us who we need to stop?

Figure: This second apocalypse is the result of events that have already occured. You cannot stop the cause. This apocalypse does not need to be an end, but it can be. You can only stop the end.

Figure: You misunderstand me, Odin. The Aesir are already protected from what is to come. As my masters and mistresses once told you, you may choose to help those who are not protected, or you may not. It is up to you.

Rwos: I believe that's all we can ask for the time being.

*Lokpihet force leaps over Fused Irvine and into Deac, who counters with dual Kata (that one from JK:JA where you spin both your sabers round you). Lokpihet traps one of them in his weapon and twists it off, angling his blade toward Deac. Deac force pulls it back toward him and steps back.*

Deac: You've improved. Now I'm going to do to you what you did to my homeworld.

*Deac goes into force speed, his eyes turning red with anger as he bolts toward Lokpihet. He fires off a bolt of Force Destruction, and throws his left saber, his remaining one held in a strong stance for a killing blow...

That Lokpihet seems to let go straight through him. He turns, and pushes Deac over, having absorbed his force destruction*

Lokpihet: Fool. You can't beat my Darkside power with your feeble tantrum. *He thrusts his sword so that Deac's head is pecariously between the blades*

Now I'm going to do to you what I did to your homeworld...

Deac: Go on, Lokpihet. Do it. Twist your weapon and end my life.

Lokpihet: That's not what I intend to do here. My business here is done. Now to make my promise complete. Malice! Lightsaber!

*Malice hands her saber to Lokpihet, who takes it in his other hand. He activates it, and with one smooth motion removes Deac's hands*

I've left you a pitiful shadow of your former self. Like your homeworld. Come, Malice. Our work here is done. My business is with Lord Cracken now.

*Lokpihet and Malice head away from the scene, as Deac lies on the ground, his arms outstreched, his lightsabers maddeningly within reach of where his hands once were...*

Deac: Lokpihet! You'll burn for this! I swear!

*Lokpihet turns*

Lokpihet: My anger burns far deeper than yours ever will, Starkiller. You have been judged, and found lacking. And wherever you go from now everyone will know of your failure. *He takes out a commlink* Lucifer, prepare my shuttle. And have the turrets fire on the co-ordinates...

*In the distance, Castle Starkiller is hit by turbolaser fire, and when the dust clears, it is gone*

*Fused Irvine turns and takes a few steps towards the direction the Lokpihet was. He stops turns his head towards Deac. He stares for a moment, then extends a hand out towards Deac. Force Lightning arcs from his fingers, purposely inflicting only enough to add insult to injury, still hurting none the less.

After that he continues walking.*

Fused Irvine *After a distences away* "I relise now of your full hatered of that man, which mine does not even compare to that. I know what I just did wan't orthadoc, but still, I disapprove of you keeping him alive, regardless of either you force him into seclusion, or he'll fully start seeing his life in a whole new perspective." *Small blots of chained lightning innocently arcs from finger to finger on his right hand.* "But either way, he'll try and kill you again, and again, until he's dead. But, respectfully, still in our common interests, he's yours. I won't push you either way."

*Flax bows his head as the the castle is destroyed. He activates his comlink.*

Flax: Bring everyone to the War Room.

*10 minutes later the heavy double doors of the war room part and Flax strides in. The Table was circular, with a holoprojector in the centre, sat around it were Admiral Ackbar, General Madine, General Cracken and the other leaders of the Alliance.*

Ackbar: Why have you called us here, General?

*Flax takes his seat.*

Flax: Beacuse 10 minutes ago Antredis' Cappitol was destroyed by the an Executor Class Star Destroyer. Colonel Starkiller lies wounded on the battle field and that flank of our restisance is about to fall apart.

Madine: They only operatives we have in that sector are Kyle Katarn, Jaden Korr and Tallan Dellosk

Cracken: I don't want to blow Kararn and Korr unless I have to, send Dellosk.

*One hour later.*

*A YT-2000 transport drops out of hyperspace on the opposite side of the Planet to the Imperial Fleet, the ship heads in low, landing in the ruins of the castle, obscewered from view and casual sensors by the heavy smoke.*

*A heavy set man in his late 50's walks up to Deac with a med-pack and a sealed cold box. The man puts Deac's hands in the cold box. Only then does he turn to Deac.*

Dellosk: I'm Dellosk, I was sent to get you, Colonel.

*Rwos' comlink buzzes again*

Trillan: *comm* Rwos, we need you. Tell Adriana to shut down her link, before it gets detected and traced, and get your ass earthside - now! Please?

Rwos: *to Adriana* Close the link. We're leaving. *to Odin* I'll be back here soon. If there's anything you want me to know, I'll still have the comm you gave me. I'll call you if I learn anything else, unless you'd rather I not. *He stands up. Adriana is already heading out with her equipment. Rwos pauses, waiting for Odin's response*

*By the time help arrives, Lokpihet and his war fleet are long gone. Deac lies on the ground, staring toward the rubble of his former home. He sees the man approaching and gestures with his left stubb*

Deac: The family cairns...over there. You have to bury....me there...

*Deac looks toward the cairns, and then stands. One of his lightsabers lies in two, the other one he levitates using the force and places it in it's holster. As the two return to the spaceport, several people gather round Deac*

Man: My lord... we failed you...

Deac: I failed you. I couldn't stop him.

Woman: Our lady...your Aunt, she is wounded. Will you go to her?

*Deac rushes toward the remains of the hospital. He is taken inside, and shown toward a dying woman's bed*

Lady Starkiller: You came...you came...

Deac: Yes. I came.

Lady Starkiller: You...have to lead them now, Deac...you are the next in line. There is something you must have...and from what I see...you need ...

*An aide hives Deac an old silver box. He opens it.*

Deac: A lightsaber? How did you? An who...?

Lady Starkiller: It belonged to Lord Ulverom...our founder...with it he destroyed the Darkstar Cult....do the same....

Deac: Then I am the last...

Lady Starkiller: Elella...

*Her vitals go flat. Deac covers her over, and then motions for the comm link from the Aide*

Aide: The Lady has fallen. Long live Lord Deac!

*He places the clasp of the ancestral cloak on Deac, and hands him the signet ring*

Deac: *Into commlink* Atredians...the Lady Starkiller has fallen. I am saddened to take this role, but must leave the planet to avenge her. I hereby commend the C&C of the Atredian army as interim President of the People. I will avenge our world. War has come to the galaxy once again, and I must go to fight it. I do not abandon our people. I will wear this Clasp, and this Ring until my dying breath.

*Deac begins to walk to the Spaceport, people stopping the rebuilding work to clap as he walks by*
