It was no way near as good as T3 (which I think ruined the Terminator Franchise but that didn't matter it had Arnold killing people for 2 hours thats bound to be a hit, its almost hypnotic)

But Reloaded just seemed to have the action scences unneccesarily drag on and on and on. I mean Neo should have killed those guys while the Twins chased the key maker, in a few seconds; but it took ages, what the hell was that about? And that Dance Scene was terrible and irrelevant; the film seemed to be some what lacking; however I have high hopes for Revolutions.

On an off topic I think Hollywood is really scraping the barrel, for films.

Yeah, the Dance scene had alot of symbolism in it. Besides, It was perfect for a bathroom break.

Also the bit where Neo takes ages to kill those people, remember they are programs, not at all like normal people, and the fact that there were so many of them. *thinks back* So many with weapons.

I thought the bit with all the Agent Smiths was a bit pointless, that annoyed me the first time I watched the film.

Anyway, I'm downloading the trailer now. I've seen the one from the Enter the Matrix game. I hope this is as cool looking. And I agree, this one does look better than Reloaded (which is still cool).

:wstupid:

I liked Matrix Reloaded as well. I went and saw it twice, because it was difficult to take it all in the first time. I liked it even better the second time. It was a thrill from start to finish.

I'll be down in front opening day!

I havn't seen reloaded(parents won't let me), but I saw 1 at my friends house. It was pretty good, and I liked how the animatrix explained the story alot too. I saw Animatrixes The second Reniassance(sp?) and then the 1st movie, so I understood a bit. I wish that it would hurry up and come out on dvd so I can see it at my friends house:p

Don't know if this has been posted before but here is the new Revolutions trailer, it's rather good after the dissapointing Reloaded, it does the job of getting you excited for the next film.

I suggest you download it, it's 32MB

As with the LOTR films, I think of the Matrix (and animatrix) films as one big film in lots of parts, so Revolutions can either make or break the films for me. There are several theories regarding what The Matrix is, some of which are extremely good, and only Revolutions will show whether the films are complete genius, or hollywood pseudo-philosophy. The only really interesting part of Reloaded was near the end, the dialogue with the Architecth that totally changed everything we knew about the The Matrix. I liked that. I hope for something like that in Revolutions.

One thing I really didn't like with Reloaded was the change in Neo's character.. In Matrix 1, Neo was just a normal bloke being shown mind-bending things, and so whenever anyone said anything completely absurd that'd make the audience think "What the heck?!", Neo would say "What the heck?!" and that's how the storyline progressed. In Reloaded, Neo was some hero character, a superman, and whenever anyone said anything completely absurd, Neo would just say "okay." and that'd be it. Neo should have been more stupid, like in the first film, I think.

As for Terminator 3... (I have don't understand why this came up in this thread, but as it already has I'll comment on it) ... It was okay, I guess, but with utterly ridiculous special effects. Frøken Løken did a good job with the TX character, acting much like Arnie in Terminator 1, but the gimmick of a female Terminator was pretty predictable. I really would have liked to see more in the future, to actually see the battle, and see the machines send Arnie back in time to kill Sarah Conner or whatever she was called, and John send back his father-to-be to impregnate his mother. Future Arnie could meet evil present Arnie and they could battle. I figured that some really clever time-loop type thing could be created, where the TX makes good Arnie evil, and that's the Arnie that's sent back in time to the first film. or something. Like in BTTF 2, where they go back to BTTF 1, that would be really good, I think. but oh well.

This post is already ridiculously long, far longer than I had intended it to be, but I guess I have way too much time, so I'll ramble on for a bit more to make it even longer so you have to read even further to see whether I actually have anything interesting to say. Well, I don't! ha ha.
