I actually reviewed this forum at the time and it helped me a lot in resolving issues with some versions that were actually distributed in these countries but only the box and some manual were translated, however the game came out in traditional English. Regarding EMI you can actually get the CDs in both versions (Traditional and Simplified), in Russian a friend on the Internet was able to give me some images of the CDs that were distributed in his country under the Lucasarts license.
