  1. I'm not exactly sure what it does, but I think that it sort of re-aligns all the vertexes to a normal, level environment. It with safe-pivots off, it resets the bounding box (not sure what to call it, the sort of general box outline you see when you select a mesh) to align and be straight and level. You can do it with both, I think, but generally, best results with KAurora come with safe-pivots off.

  2. I'm not really sure. Maybe what you should do is use your current plot as sort of a jump off to what you really want to do now. I sort of did the same thing. The asteroid/pirates in my story were originally intended to be more than they ended up being. So, I used them to introduce the new part of the story, and they sort of ended up being irrelevant.

  3. I'm not sure, I've never used the blender. I'm pretty sure that you can't directly import KotOR models into blender. You'll have to use either 3ds Max or GMax to convert the KotOR models to a .3ds or a similar file format. Try asking in Holowan, because I think some people prefer to use the Blender.

  4. I'm not sure. I will find out.

  5. I'm not sure. I've got Vista right now, might still work for me. If you'll email me KAurora and your files, I can try it for you if you want.

  6. I'm not sure. You could try it and see if it works.

  7. I'm on the chatbox if you want to talk.

  8. I'm planning to use it in the Sleheyron Restoration as a unique appearance.

  9. I'm pretty busy as well, but it's settling down a bit.

  10. I'm watching you...

  11. I'm working on another reskinned area. I'm not sure how it's going to work out at this point. It's coming fairly slow because of time constraints, but it will pick up.

  12. I'm working on Sleheyron Restoration, Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt, the Ultimate Ranged Mod, I'm helping with Brotherhood of Shadow Two, I'm modeling an area for Ulmont in his True Sith mod, I'm making a gun for HodgePodge, and I'm considering working on the Holowan Spire V. 2.0.

  13. I've been okay, I guess. But pretty lazy on the modding.

  14. I've found one in a placeable in K1 (the placeable has the trimesh modifier on it), but the strange thing is that threre aren't any in the area models. And, I did *have* to test it out to see if it worked. Oh, now I remember something interesting. Remember those large Sleheyron Arenas in K1, when I added my walkmesh to them, they actually had collideable walls. Also, you might want to have a look at surfacemat.2da, it has some ineresting things in it. Anyway, maybe Magnus can crack this stuff soon...

  15. I've read the past couple of chapters, and there are quite a few behaviors that I find to be strange. I find it odd that Master Karos is so bent on destruction. Possibly the trait of a Padawan, but definitely not a Master. I would think that some of the other Jedi would take note of this behavior, and confront her about it. I also think that an exceptionally well trained person such as a Jedi would not rush into a conflict as quickly as was depicted in the last chapter. It seemed very, very abrupt to me. I would imagine that a Jedi Master would recognize the dangers of such a mission, and accept the fact that there would be little that they could do about it. It seems illogical that a wounded Trandoshan, two Padawans, and one Master could do what the delegation of Jedi Masters and Republic officers could not. However, I do understand your desire to move on from this fic, but I think that it could have been done a little more smoothly.

  16. I've sent it to you. :)

  17. If you post it in Holowan, I can move it to the tutorials section. There are a few privileged members that are allowed to post in the tutorials section, but we keep it restricted for the most part.

  18. If you'll excuse me for asking, but what's a TARDIS?

  19. If you're referring to the one that was pictured in my Ultimate Ranged Mod WIP, then that M4 got erased with everything else on my hard drive about 8 months ago. I might make a new one, but I've got my hands full at the moment.

  20. It requires an intact humanoid brain.

  21. It took a lot of practice, and quite a bit of tutorial searching. I use Photoshop CS3, and I basically looked up tutorials for doing whatever kind of material I was creating until I felt comfortable without the tutorials. Here is a webiste that I have used recently to discover better techniques for skinning. The Dodge and Burn tools are very handy. :D

  22. It was a post you reported a while back.

  23. It was excellent as always, keep up the good work!

  24. It was really great to be able to work with you too, Mono. :) I wish I could stay around longer, but I can't.

  25. It's all on hold. I'm slammed with school.
