Well, the entire Alpha quadrant was left reeling from the Dominion War, so that could feasibly open the door for any opportunistic power to move in and threaten any of the major powers.

But 'alien invasion' seems like too much of a cliche. A secret organisation might not be too bad - Section 31 are always planning something nefarious. I'll see what else I can think of.

I'm not an admin, so I can't set up new sections on the boards - my 'powers' only extend as far as keeping order and preventing spam.

In addition, there would need to be some serious interest in such a thing for it to be properly considered by the staff - which if why a subsection for the books hasn't been made - there needs to be some existing interest (and a lot of it) for anything like that to be set up.

It's a great series (even though I haven't read through all of them, I haven't been disappointed with the four i've read so far), and a perfect mix of history and humour.

It's just a shame Fraser died without having written more... I would've really liked to read about his adventures in the American Civil War.
