Good to see you FINALLY join, @Vainamoinen... only took you like 20 years.

I could swear that I read about the eye-adjustment thing in FOA before I've played the game. Was it maybe in the manual or the hint book? Maybe in a review...
-
Maybe @LogicDeLuxe can shed some light (ha!) on this?
-
Nope, no response. Maybe it sounded like a "Could you record an answering machines message for me?"-request to him.
-
And they couldn't be bothered to voice the stump joke. Guess they just extracted all dialogue lines from the data files to record. Stump joke was missing from the VGA data files, while Lite Mode was still in the data files.
-
Does easy mode have any changed dialogue? It would be weird if they recorded dialogue that couldn't be heard in the game, with easy mode removed.

Nope, money was gone. My credit card company said there's nothing they could do, since I voluntarily gave them my credit card number to order. If my order wouldn't show up after a few months, I could make them start an investigation, but that would have cost a fee, plus it most likely wouldn't have resulted in anything anyway, they told me.

DON'T ORDER THERE! That's is one of the typical scam sites, which pop up all over social media, all the time. They usually steal their images from sites like Etsy. Their store pages look all the same, each time. If something looks too good to be true, it usually isn't. There's no reason for Indiana Jones props to be that cheap.

Whoops... I was already preparing the cleaned version 😂 Although it works quite nice and ominously this way too.
-
Technically it's not "added", as it is already in the painting. Can't really remember, why I filtered it out so much in my old version.
-
New version in the works: Better colors, higher detail. I've simply gotten better at cleaning these up over the years, so it could do with an update.

Telltale's Sam & Max games getting remastered

Was the Friendly Demon Song a Mini CD before as well? I somehow remember it being an actual (toy) record. -
Telltale's Sam & Max games getting remastered

Here we go! -
I'm pretty sure that was a reference to Mojo chief @Remi (who also posted the news on the Mojo front page)... Edit: Then again, maybe not. Move along. Shut up.

I liked the way hints worked in Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space, with Max giving hints, depending on the "strength" set in the options. Those hints just gently pushed you in the right direction, not flat out telling you the solution, but rather making it sound like Max' intuition kicks in.

The Monkey Island box set from Limited Run Games
Laserschwert replied to Udvarnoky's topic in General Discussion
When you print them at 300dpi they'd have the correct size. They are smaller than A4, I think. Can't check right now. -
It should be noted that at least one founder of Skunkape is also a core member of the Mojo community, so shitting on them like that on these forums isn't the best idea. Not because you don't have the right to express your opinion, but because many of us here know them personally, know how they busted their asses to make these remasters happen, and know them as amazing people.

The Monkey Island box set from Limited Run Games

If you'd like to update your Anthology box to include RtMI, I've got you covered: Just print them out (300 dpi) and stick them on your box! Get them here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Od7I3bVxuQP3j4N6sEItvwcTRR0qHdWW?usp=sharing -
I could imagine there being a narrative framing of Guybrush telling the story himself (like in MI2), which would justify any inconsistencies with the other games. I'd say that's certainly more likely than stuff like time-traveling or multiverses.
-
I'm pretty sure that's the reason. Not only is he running Double Fine, he's also the head writer on the bigger projects.

Just to keep these chronicled here: https://twitter.com/grumpygamer/status/1511022135191384067?s=20&t=3O0ZuBItnt2aH0bYMdTzvw

Incredible! Written by Ron and Dave... music by Land/McConnell/Bajakian... Dom as Guybrush... and was that Denny Delk as Murray?
