You have not had a visitor message this year at all! Here, let me slip one in real fast before it ends.

Please tell me about the origins of the signature. I shall pay you handsomely for this information.

Going quite decently indeed, good sir. Well, not as decently as I'd like, but I shouldn't complain. How's it going for you?

Sorry, my PC was out of commission for a while. I'm watching the first episode right now, it looks pretty good - especially since I just dumped Mirai Nikki and Un-Go about 1/3rds through their first episodes.

Have you ever come across a voiceless retroflex sibilant in your joyful jaunts through the realms of cryptic languages? If so, how is one pronounced? Or how are two pronounced, for that matter? It annoys me greatly because as a practitioner of languages using Devanagari, I am expected to be able to say it, and yet I cannot. Any assistance would be welcomed with open arms and legs.
Yours congruently,
Emperor of the High Seas
P.S. Consider smuggling Amisulpride into your physiology as it makes mornings quite fresh, creative and inordinate.

“And while there are those,” the mad Arab had written, “who have dared to seek glimpses beyond the Veil, and to accept HIM as guide, they would have been more prudent had they avoided commerce with HIM; for it is written in the Book of Thoth how terrific is the price of a single glimpse. Nor may those who pass ever return, for in the vastnesses transcending our world are shapes of darkness that seize and bind. The Affair that shambleth about in the night, the evil that defieth the Elder Sign, the Herd that stand watch at the secret portal each tomb is known to have and that thrive on that which groweth out of the tenants thereof:— all these Blacknesses are lesser than HE WHO guardeth the Gateway: HE WHO will guide the rash one beyond all the worlds into the Abyss of unnamable devourers. For He is ‘UMR AT-TAWIL, the Most Ancient One, which the scribe rendereth as THE PROLONGED OF LIFE.”

'afraid I haven't followed Burzum much lately. I like his older works because, as Varg himself puts it, it's excellent night-time music to listen to before going to bed, very soothing stuff.

I like a bunch of tracks, My Journey to the Stars, Dunkelheit, Key to the Gate and so on. Daudi Baldrs is also neat.

"I died once and wandered the earth for some time disembodied before my current form."
Strongly, strongly reminded me of the beautiful story 'Mongolia' from David Mitchell's book Ghostwritten. Thanks. <3

While there's nothing quite like Ergo Proxy yet, you may be interested in the recently-begun anime No.6, which has very similar plot themes [utopia/dystopia etc.] with some terrific animation and world design. It's on Episode 4 so far.

Channeling through a recommendation from the great Beebee: Everybody's Fine. Watch it because it's great and because Sam Rockwell
