Yes same time works well for a niche audience I think. I get confused even when some of you share multiple days and I can’t remember what it was. A small QoL improvement would be embedding a link to the game in the shared results like Wordle does. It’d make it much easier to jump in. 😁

I don’t think it needs much change to continue being fun, just more variety of at least Monkey Island games would go a long way. It could become less fun for those not into the broader LucasArts ecosystem if it didn’t stay focused on Monkey Island, but I don’t know how many people play it beyond this extremely knowledgeable audience. 😅

I am guessing (sadly) that Apple’s understanding of an emulator is as simple as ‘thing that sits between game and player to make it work on system’. Technicalities aside, ScummVM has that in common with any emulator, and so whatever drove Apple to decide against emulators I imagine would still apply. I can see a world in which a game and ScummVM are bundled together as an app and sold, similar to what is done on Steam except perhaps a bit more locked down so you can’t run other games on it. That’d need a publisher though, so unless that’s what this recent Zoom Platform shilling is all about, probably brings us back to Disney.

It does make it jarringly less obvious which game is which. We just need Tales Cursed! in there for maximum confusion.
