I've considered your offer from a few weeks back, about you willing to beta read Scion of Darkness for us. If you're still willing, I'd like to take you up on your offer, and send it over to you as soon as tomorrow afternoon (that's Friday, 9th January). We're working on our own edits now, and we're a few hours away from being ready to send it to our beta readers.

Like I've said, we're in no rush to get to the end. I'll be around for a little bit in the early afternoon, but not for too long, so if you're around during the evening we can finish the last of the Celeb/Osay bit. Lemme know. ^_^

So, tomorrow afternoon I have a few errands to run, but I'll be around all evening and about as late as usual. Friday is still up in air, and the weekend is out, as I'm working 7-5 both days. What's your schedule like? I want to get the Osay/Celeb bit finished so we can get the first chapter sent off to the beta readers - which reminds me, I need to let you know who exactly they'll be the next time I see you.

I think I've asked you before, but I'm gonna ask again just in case.

We're going to be needing beta readers in the next little while. I've had one person come to me after speaking to you, but I'm wondering if you have any other names to suggest as well. I've approached three people already; one of them has accepted enthusiastically, the other two I've not heard back from yet. Anyone come to mind for you?

Well then, why don't we hop to it, and get it done. That way we'll have everything up to the captures done by the end of the night, and we can work out how we're going to continue.

I'm working on bits I need to write myself now. Did we ever get around to the Osay/Celeb encounter, or is that still on our to-do list?

Now that the holiday season has worn down, we should be ready to get moving again come Monday - though I'm off tomorrow, so if you and Addy are available as well we can get together, catch up, and press forward. I want to get the first would-be chapter finished soon.

Hey mate. Sorry for being so quiet over the past few days. I've had a busy weekend at work, as well as a sticky argument in Kavar's with possibly one of the most ridiculously biased and ignorant conservative Republicans I've ever met.

K, wow mate, something really needs to be done about Garfield. I don't even think he's sincere about his arguments anymore, he's just trying to piss people off with thinly veiled flamebait. For the love of God, please put an end to him.

It is amazing how he always seems to think he's right, even when the amount of proof against him is insurmountable. His persistence would be commendable, if he persisted in something intelligent and valid for once.

See, the ignore list feature does nothing for me - I read their posts anyway, because I can't help myself. XD But yes, I am glad that if we can't ban all those who insist on labelling Obama something he's quite obviously not, then at least J7 had the wisdom to find a way to keep the rampant ignorance contained. But then, if it were up to me, threads like that would be forbidden, on pain of perma-ban from Kavar's, unless there's some serious new evidence to back up such claims.

Isn't there a new rule against dragging up old arguments for the sake of a topic that's been beaten to death, as guys like Garfield and (to a much less aggravating extent, granted) Source Yar-El?

Don't mention it. I'm getting quite sick of maniacal right wingers trying to label Obama a terrorist, a traitor, a liar, or whatever else. Very sick. To the point where I have to moderate my own activity in Kavar's to avoid being banned.
