Hurricane.

Hey guys.

I've been informed over this week that there is going to be a hurricane in canada and some of the states? I think.

And I mean, with me comming back and all, then hearing that the winds are going to pick up to 75mph, I cringed about the thought of having the internet knocked out ;_;

But anyway.

Is anyone going to be in this besides me?

(It's pretty wicked though, I'm going to go jump off the roof xD)

You seriously doubt what?

The whole me hearing about it hitting wales eventually? Because I doubt that aswell but I'm positive I heard it on the radio.

Or you doubting the thing about me almost losing my leg?

That one was true.

We had the tail end of a hurricane one halloween. I was waiting for my sister to finish her ballet class so I could get home. We all left the place she was being taught and it was pouring down with rain and it was extremely windy. I opened the door when the wind calmed down and climbed into the car, bearing in mind I was about 7. As I was about to lift my leg in the wind slammed the door shut... almost, my leg got in the way.

I couldn't walk for a few hours, it wasn't fun. Not as bad as having the door slam, completely, on two of my fingers. I opened the door with lightning speed and put my blue fingers under the cold tap in the garage..... Thinking about it... I don't like car doors anymore.

Anyway, just got my cable internet and TV back yesterday. LucasForums were down AGAIN so I couldn't post! :mad:

What happened in Virginia...

The coast was hit BAD. Everywhere else, random trees fell on cars and houses. Where I live, nothing happened. Not a single tree fell in my backyard. There were quite a few trees down elsewhere, but not much damage in my area. But guess what... Power has been out in the ENTIRE STATE of Virginia. I lost phones, cable, and power over the weekend and a few days this week. SUCKS. The power company had trucks from other companies come and help as far as Oklahoma <sp?>. But something else bad that happened, second to last night, a tornado touched down in my county. Shoot that was like another hurricane. Like 50% of the trees in my backyard were snapped or fallen. Thankfully, power stayed on for me. But 20,000 (I think) more people lost power cause of that tornado.

But back to the hurricane... See, before I moved to Virginia, I lived in southern California. And there, they have these "devil winds" which are like a dry hurricane. They came every year and are much worse than what I got of the hurricane.

we've had winds like that in wyoming before, around my area too, i wasn't here though, i lived 4 hrs away at the time and they had a storm that rained for like two days straight and heavy winds at like 80 miles an hour, i didn't believe the kids that told me but the teachers all backed it up
