Ummm... Rip Off?

You know the short movie Art of the Saber 2, by the Ho brothers. It was a few months ago (Before JA;)) Well, I just watched it and I noticed that it had the JA Strong KAta, and the dual saber barrier crouch in it. Has anyone else noticed this too? I thought that it was funny. If the JA programmers have to stoop this low to get moves for the game, then I like the Ho brother's style.

EDIT:

Here's a link to the movie.

Actually, I'd say over 75% of the movie is ripped into JKA. Even the basic swings for the dual saber/dual-bladed saber from AotS is in JKA.

I mean, you see the opening for the medium kata, a few of the duel taunts (the dual saber one saber blade spin about the other comes to mind), the strong kata, the dual saber kata stance, both the dual saber and dual-bladed saber defensive spins, the split kick (evasive though), the evasive cartwheel, etc.

And I'd take the dual saber backstab finisher anyday.

oh.....heh....I have had that movie for such a long time, its awsome; one of the best fan films I have seen. Its based on a man that died fighting in the cival war, so its based on a true story..tho obviously they werent really jedi^^ The fight choreography is some of the best I have ever seen in a mere fan film.

And the lightsabers are just toys! I've seen it before!

It looks like they were fighting with sticks or swords, then edited it to have the saber-look. I think the best part was when the red saber guy stuck his saber in the ground!

It actually says at the end of the movie that they used toy lightsabers and spliced in the effect. Of course that's what most fan movies do anyway. I think AotS is awesome. The civil war letter is a nice touch.

Speaking of fan films, has anyone seen troops? If you haven't, you need to. Go to theforce.net and look at the fan films section. It's hilarious. Go now.

That's why I said, " sticks or swords."

Sticks are dangerous, so even when they are praticing, they could hurt themslevs.

But the part when the guy with the red saber pick up his sabr hilt, it looks like qui gon's lightsaber to me. And it looks like the plastic toy one that i have. :D

They are they toys. I ahve them, I know. Its the only way they could do it, unless they have fine skills with carving sticks....
