Yep, thats right.

I got an email from Lucasarts (I'm a newsletter subscriber), and it said that ign.com and some other reviewers had had the chance to play test the PC version. I clicked on the ink to the official site and got linked to ig.com for the preview of the game.

In the article they more or less revealed the minimum reqs for PC, and I must say that I'm shocked about the low reqs for such a game.

Well, see for yourself. Heres the reqs and a link:

1 GHZ

128 MB Ram

GeForce 3 or better

3 GB of hard disk space

Full story.

Also the game runs in a standard 1024x768 resolution and can support resolutions up to 1600x1200 .

So what do you guys think? Is this old news?

Not at all, it's great you're sharing this info with people here in the Jedi Knight forum. :)

I've been so busy with rl [bleh] stuff that I just read them myself about 15 minutes ago.

1 ghz? Wow. I guess they didn't include much options as to decrease graphics settings. But meh, my computer will run it fine. :D And Hellfire, I believe it comes out Nov. 17 or 18.

I heard it should be November 22nd in the UK. Dont know any other release dates.

Alright, i heard it was ganna be 2 ghz :) thanks!!!! The only problem is, i just meet the requirments (1.2 ghz, 128 RAM, 32 GB HD) so... ill possibly be able to play! :)

edit: well, i hope LA releases a Demo. The only thing is, the jedi academy demo was about 10-15% the game size (180 MB, and the game is like 1.2GB) So Im a bit scared that this demo will be around 300-400 MB... or more... the question is, will my 56 k be able to handle it :(icon5.gif

EDIT2: There will be a demo!!! Check the music section at lucasart's site! it says:

The decision was made to have Jeremy score the two cutscenes that would be used in the demo, and he began work immediately.

Yay :) Now at least we can dl it, and make sure it works.
