_PerfectAgent_
My first game was Dark Forces, it came with my first computer, two firsts in a row. After that, I got Doom II. Wow, I remember when games and programs were in floppy disks... (And Doom II took a "whopping" five disks!)
SkinWalker
Elite took only one 5 1/4" HD disk! It ran very well on my intel 80286 with 2mb ram!

Samuel Dravis
The first game I got that I liked was CivNet. It was the multiplayer enhanced version of Civilization. That game was great!
Jaden X
Dark Forces and Rebel Assault II were the first 2 games I have ever played. Then Wolf3d, Rebel Assult I, Pitfall and the PC version of MegaMan X... Good times... I had no school and I could play them the whole day (I was really young...)... I remember that Dark Forces was really hard to me. I wasn't able to beat the 3rd level... (the sewer one) Today, I've beaten JK and JO, but I haven't beaten DF. I'm stuck at the 6th level (the detention). Goddamn elevators... ¬_¬

No - it just seems that way. I've played it this August again, and had played bits of it a few times in the past year or so ... it is the same. It is just quite a pain ... I had been stuck on that level for MONTHS!!!. Stormed through the next few levels in a few minutes. X-wing is a great game and all, but the difficulty is both insane and highly inconsistent. ----- The new prince of persia game is getting great reviews, several people have mentioned the words "game of the year contender" in their reviews.
