Screw this! I'm leaving too!

Not really, I just wanted to take this time to talk about Lord of the Rings: Return of the King video game. =)

(GBA)

Anyway, I have completed it with two characters, Aragorn and Frodo, and I just have to say: wow.

It has great music, and similar gameplay to The Two Towers. However, this game is freaking hard. Word to the wise- when you play it, collect kingsfoil, and save them. You'll need them. Trust me.

I'm going to play it on Xbox next, and I hope it's as good as it looks on the back of the box:D

I wanted to get it for PC, but with those requirements, my PC would blow up if I tried to run it.

Anyway, anyone else play it for any system? If so, how'd you like it? :D

The only beef I have with gamecube is that you have to have a memory thing to save your games, while on Xbox/PC, you get to save it to a hard drive without buying extra junk.

I don't have any consoles like Gamecube, Xbox, or PS2, so I have to rent it. I figure if I rent the Xbox and RotK, then I can play/beat it and rent it later and play it with all the secret stuff unlocked. :D

I went through most of it yesterday but have not finished it yet...it is hard though...annoying hard and that's why I am cheating my way through it..that way I can just enjoy playing the game and the story without all the frustration...

My system can more than support it lol...I just installed the 9800 XT a couple days ago.

I tired the PC demo...and I didn't really like it. It's definitely a ported console title, and I'm not a fan of the viewpoints of these games. I like an over-the-shoulder 3rd person view to this kind of thing.

I also found the combat a bit dull. Just click click click with the mouse - it was more like Diablo. :(

I wanted to like the game, because the graphics are great, and taking control of different characters from LOTR to fight the Orc hordes...well, it would have been fun. But I wanted a bit more depth to the combat - like JA.

Dude! bummer. Take the risk and get a better comp. With saving your hardrives.

Well, I may get a better comp. My mom agreed to pay for the parts with her Christmas bonus, but first we have to clear it with Dad, and my Dad thinks it's a waste of money. He wants to pay off the credit card. Even when I get all the parts and convince them it's all only about $500, they act all "Oh, I don't know."

D*mn it, I wish I were 18 :(

Oh, and my hardrives aren't worth anything. They have a capacity of 3 GB! Yes 3 GB! And they're by Compaq, and Compaq is the company that gave me such a crappy computer, so I'm determined to never, EVER, use Compaq again except for thngs like monitor, printer etc. I can't even upgrade my video card because Compaq's products are all stuck together, if you know what I mean, and so I can't add or remove anything.
