NiKo
this girl i told you about..right? its half past midnight, i'm sitting on a beach with a few friends, just talking and stuff...suddenly i get a call "hello? is your name niko? i'm Jasmines mother. listen to me and listen carefully! s-t-a-y a-w-a-y from my daughter! if i ever find out that you've been seing her or talking to her after this conversation, i'll involve the police. stay away from her. you are no good and she doesnt need people like you in her life! stay away from her!" i dont think she likes me...is that a bad thing? anyways...this is not too average for me, and so i had to share it to get it off my chest. Darth Groovy
I'd call her back and tell her she barks like a russian wolf hound. No but seriously, the last girlfriend I had, was a preacher's daughter. So her dad didn't like me either. Once he even threatened to punch me in the nose. After a few years he finally started to accept me. Normally parents of girlfriends always like me real well, this was a first. I'm not even with her now anyways, so it doesn't really matter. Yufster
My mother didn't want me seeing one guy, but she never got involved in it, because my mother is a lot more awesome than that. But she was right. Man, why would her mother say that? What did you do???
Darth Groovy
Trust me, he didn't have to do anything for her to have that attitude. Some parents just have strange expectations for their children, and even stranger expectations of whom they see. My parents loved my last girlfriend, but hated the one before that. Sometimes you can never win. Some parents just don't have any faith past what they can see with thier own eyes. This Jasmine's mother probably thinks Niko is some sort of bad influence, and trust me, there is not one damn thing he can do to change the way they feel about him, unless he really loves her, and is still with her after a few years, and doesn't get her into any sort of trouble. But after a threat like that, I wouldn't push it. Even my ex's dad didn't go THAT far.
Reaper Girl
What did you do??? He's Niko. No, seriously. Thats awful. This reminds me of a story....*hears groaning * Once, waaay back when, when cursing was eeevvvviiilll...I had a very foul mouth. I was friends with a girl who's dad was a white-hearted lawyer. He spoiled her to hell, yeah, but he was strick about vulgar-ness...Fate, it seemed, set us on a collision corse. I sent an email containing the hienous F-WORD. That was it. Her father sent my parents a nasty email. My friend could have cared less( i found out later "friend" purposely showed him the email...loooong story ) My screen name, Rexie444, was eliminated. the end. be careful, Niko. she may eliminated YOU. Ernil
Tell her that, because you're in the army, next time the enemies try any ****, you'll feel free to let them attack her. Then date her daughter. Seriously, what can the Cops do? "Hello. My daughter...well...see...she's dating this boy. I don't like him." ...

Can they file a restraining order or anything? Ya gotta remember, this is Isreal, not sure what the laws are like there. :/
Skinkie
Bring your whole army to her front door, kick it down, and kidnap her, that's what I would do in that situation. ... Although most people say my plans involving violence are really stupid, so it may not be the best solution.
Ernil
I had a friend that used to live in Isreal. She moved there from San Francisco, so I don't think it's too bad of a place. Obviously.

Darth Groovy
That sucks. My ex-girlfriends dad tried to pull that **** with me, in an email. After several "were are you?" type emails from her, I finally broke down and forwarded her the email he sent me. Pissed him off plenty, but at least I was no longer the bad guy in her eyes. Too bad you don't have a copy of the phone call...
NiKo
she knows already. i broke down after 13 unanswered calls from her, and 4 "why wont you answer me? is something wrong? are you okay?" SMS messages. so i told her, had no choice... now she says she's gonna talk to her mother about it i dont know if thats wise, but...what can i do? Surfnshannon
I wonder what would give her mother the impression that you are not good for her daughter? That's bull****. Anyways - maybe after a heart to heart (your gf and her mother) maybe her mother will be more understanding. And how did her mother get your number and WHY in the world did she call you at midnight? Joshi
wait, it's all you can do. i'f I were you, i'd confront her mother asking why she thinks you're such a bad guy with the full intent of getting something out of here that seems discriminatory. that'll scare her and show her you know your stuff and is confident and stuff. of course you have to do this with the full knowledge that you're not guilty and can prove it. it doesn't matter if you can't just convince yourself that you can and you'll do this. Acrylic
I wish you the best of luck my friend. I never really had a "serious" girlfriend, so, I dont have any true advice. But, I'm told I'm full of wisdom when it comes to crisis. Try and be cautious. Maybe talk to her mom or something? I dont know exactly whats going on...so, I cant give good advice.. Ok...bye. Guybrush122
well niko, i, for one, would....*double takes*.....niko?? dude, since when have you......as in, when did.....how.....? ah, im gonna put all that surreal confusion in the back of my mind right now, and suggest you talk to her mom. be extra polite, say the "ma'am"s, take out the trash, apologize for any misunderstood actions or rumors and assure her that you have nothing but total respect for her daughter, and ask if there is anything you can do to assure her of your responsibility and maturity. seems the best way to handle it, to me. Alia
This kind of situation sucks. I was on the other end of a similar one a while back. Yeah, I was a girl with incomprehensibly disapproving, overbearing parents. I don't know what to say. I should know, but I don't. Also I'm not human. Stuff's different for us immortals. Good luck, man.
NiKo
update: i have'nt heard from her in a week. so i asked one of her friends whats going on with her, and she said that she is now with someone else. and that someone is kind of a friend of mine. that sucks. last night i bumped into her in town and she gave me a lousy wave and half forced smile. so now i guess were not talking...i dont know why, i guess she's just over me funny thing is, her mom wanted to give me another chance in the end. *sigh*
Alia
More story. He was with someone else shortly afterward, too. Nice job on winning over her mom, though. I'm sorry NiKo, that must be really awful.

Shivermetimbers
If she liked you that much, then got over it as fast as she did and got with one of your friends, I doubt that a) she's very smart b)she's very nice c) she's very mature and d) she's worth it It does suck though.
